Nice views, room had a balcony

Location, the hotel is a 20 minute walk from the ferry dock (for the lake steamers) in Beckenried, there are no restaurants within a 15 minute walk.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff was surly and non-caring. The cleaning staff did not show up one day. I went to the desk to ask that our rooms be cleaned and the receptionist asked what I wanted to have done. I said we needed fresh towels, beds made, rooms cleaned, etc. She said okay. Later, when nothing had been done I piled all of the wet towels from both our rooms out in the hallway in front of our doorways. Eventually, they were picked up and clean towels were placed on a chair across the hall. Nobody ever came to our rooms to do anything. Speaking of the towels, they should have been trashed years ago. They were almost threadbare and were tattered, realy bad. The breakfast room was a disaster. Floor and table cloths strewn with bits of food and dirty. Food was not replenished at the serving tables. I had to take my glass to the kitchen one morning to get it refilled with water. The whole place is a disaster and I would recommend anyone thinking of staying there to seriously reconsider.

At a rate of 1 (bad) to 10 (great), I give this hotel a 2. The one good point is earned thanks to the cleaning lady who performs her job well by cleaning the rooms thoroughly.

Where to begin with the feedback, since there a so much to say. Seehotel Sternen is an outdated hotel that really can use a good renovation. The rooms are ok, if you don't count the small bath rooms and the noise coming through the thin-paper walls. Since It is frequented a lot by busses filled with tourists, you can imagine what kind a noise it gives at 7 am. The breakfast really give you the creeps. If you eat at 9 am, the place looks at it is plundered. None of the napkins was free of dirt. One of the mornings we could see ourselves that none of the napkins was replaced by new ones, so that the next morning we were sitting at tables with the same dirty sheets on them. The meat (charcuterie) was turned-over, the hot milk was not even warm and the cold milk was assembled by the left-overs of the hot milk. Of the 40 unused glasses and cups there were 2 of them clean of lipstick, dirt, sunken coffee.. Accumulate all this with the unfriendly staff (one of the owners passed at breakfast to assemble her own breakfast, without even saying a hello or even looking at us) you can honestly ask yourself why you should pay 90 euros a night while the hotel doesn't do any effort to keeps the place tidy or attractive.

The panorama view is fantastic!

This place is terrible! It's outdated, the room stinks of tobacco, the breakfast had toast and pretty much nothing else. You get the feeling that it s rapidly decaying and is about to close down next week. Please down grade it to one star and stop sending clients there.

Everything else. The hotel was awful, basic, cold, tatty, scruffy. In desparate need of updating and modernising. The bathroom taps were leaking into a bucket placed under the sink and the whole bath and sink were full of heavy limescale which made it look filthy. The breakfast was very basic indeed, no tea was offered and when I asked for some, the girl (who doubles up as a receptionist and seems to be the only person working there), looked at me as if I was asking for the moon and said that they don't have black tea. She said that they only have Chinese visitors to their hotel who dont drink it. I also noted that the cereal had been left out uncovered all the night before. Very unhygienic. We were very disappointed in this hotel as it was our first overnight stop on the first day of our holidays, which put a bad feeling in the air for us. Was definitely very bad value for money at over 100 euros per night and I was surprised as I thought Swiss hotels would have been higher quality. This was supposed to be a 4 star but it wasn't even a 1 star. AWFUL dont go there.

The location is wonderful; the views are stunning.

We had stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed a wonderful meal at the restaurant. This time however the restaurant did not exist. When booking in the check in staff advised us about the time for breakfast (which was a poor rreplacement for our previous experience) and when asked about the retaurent opening times shrugged her shoulders and said "no restaurant", "So where can we eat?" Another shrug. We also had a problem with our car during our stay and the staff could not have been lLESS helpful.

Alles, het hotel was in renovatie, was niet gemeld. Geen bar, restaurant en een pover ontbijt. Slechte ervaring

De omgeving en ligging van het hotel

Geboekte kamer was in eerste instantie niet beschikbaar I.V.M. overvolle boeking. We kregen een kamer zonder electrische tijd en lampen. Hierna toch een normale kamer. Ontbijt was om 9 uur al helemaal opgegeten door andere gasten. Wifi was kapot. Hotel was enorm gehorig.

Hotel hätte teilweise Reparaturen nötig. Personal sprach kaum deutsch. Offenbar findet ein Besitzerwechsel statt, daher wirkte einiges unorganisiert.

Licht im Bad defekt

Zimmer war nicht gemacht,mussten mehrere Male reklamieren. Frühstücksraum unsauber. Wenig Essen vorhanden Zimmer wurde in 4 Tagen nie gereinigt. Zimmer musste voraus bezahlt werden, obwohl man das Zimmer nicht anschauen konnte. Die erste Ansprechsperson konnte kein Deutsch nur Englisch. Das Restaurant war ausser Betrieb, war aber auf der Onlineplattform nicht angegeben als geschlossen.

El hotel tiene una ubicación privilegiada, en primera línea del lago. Las vistas desde la habitación son fantásticas.

En cuanto al hotel, no cumple ni de lejos las espectativas. De las 4 estrellas se le pueden quitar tranquilamente 2. Las instalaciones tendrán unos 30 años, y nunca se ha remodelado. Necesita un cambio total, porque la ubicación es excepcional. La tv era de 14 pulgadas y en blanco y negro, hacía años que no veía una. Tenía neverita minibar pero estaba vacía. El cuarto de baño estaba muy viejo.

Le Seehotel Sternen nous a relogé pour notre 2ème nuit de séjour pour cause d'overbooking. L'hôtel où nous avons été relogés se situait à 20 kilomètres, isolé sur une colline et les prestations étaient inférieures à celle du Seehotel Sternen alors que le prix du séjour est resté le même. Nous sommes mécontents par rapport à cela.

Posizione in riva al lago

Camere non insonorizzate, nella stessa notte in cui abbiamo soggiornato è stato accolto un pullman di asiatici che al mattino seguente hanno iniziato a chiacchierare (urlare) nei corridoi dalle 6 svegliando tutti, ripetute chiamate alla reception non hanno risolto nulla, il personale dell'albergo non è intervenuto ma si è solo scusato quando siamo andati via. Colazione nella media ma nulla di fresco (torte, frutta, ecc).

La posizione è ottima , comoda per girare con la macchina in tutta la svizzera.

Soprattutto la carenza e la non professionalità dello staff. Le chiavi della camera non si trovavano mai e non erano mai al solito posto, le receptionist non era molto preparate ed educate. Una notte al rientro ne abbiamo trovata una fuori dall'hotel parlando al computer, siamo entrati abbiamo aspettato e siamo dovuti riuscire x chiederle la chiave della camera! La sala colazione non sempre apposto anche se nell'albergo non c'era molta gente dato il periodo I tavolini rimanevano sporchi e da sparecchiare.insomma non all'altezza del prezzo visto che abbiamo pagato ben 300€ x 4 notti.

miserables Frühstück Bezahlung beim Checkin (!) Minibar nicht vorhanden Dusche defekt diverse Einrichtungsgegenstände defekt (Zimmerlampe/Vorhänge/Balkon- plättli), Liste könnte noch verlängert werden! Das Ganze entspricht bei weitem nicht dem im Internet vorgegebenen Standard

Lorsque vous arrivez personnel pas très chaleureux, on vous demande de payer votre chambre d'avance et l'on sait pourquoi en voyant les chambres qui n'ont pas été rénovée depuis la dernière guerre... et le petit déjeûner... nous étions après un car! La vue sur le lac pourrait être belle, mais rien n'est entretenue, bâtiment, terrasse tout est défréchi. Mauvaise nuit!

Ein vier Sterne Hotel das höchstens 2 Sterne Service anbietet. Werde mich schriftlich äusern über die Misstände in diesem Hotel.
