rustige warme kamer, goed ontbijt. Prachtig gelegen, midden in de stad, alles op loopafstand bereikbaar.

De ruime kamer, verder was het verblijf te kort.

Voor zurichse begrippen een vriendelijk geprijsd hotel, niets te klagen alles naar wens en echt lekker centraal.

Someone else said this hotel was a "find." We totally agree. We walked to it from the train station easily. There was a ramp right near the hotel from the street below in case you were pulling luggage. The guy who checked us in was friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English. He even showed us to our room. The room was very spacious, very modern, and very clean. The beds were wonderful. You could smell the freshness in the sheets and pillows. This is one of the first hotels we stayed in during 3 weeks in Switzerland where we could both walk into the bathroom at the same time. We give the Hotel St. Josef a 10 and highly recommend that you try it. We would stay here again for sure.

Hotel St. Josef is located at an ideal location at the skirt of the Zurich old city within a walkable distance of 15 minutes. The room was clean and comfortable, little disturbed by the cars going through the main road in front. Breakfast was rich in selection and healthy in quality. We have a pleasant stay of two nights before concluding our two weeks stay in Europe.

The hotel is situated on the hill. And if you are going from the railway station with luggage by foot, you should be ready to go up by very steep stairs. If you choose a hotel which will be near to the railway station – this hotel is not for you.

Hotel St Josef is conveniently located close to the railway station in Zurich, although it is a bit of a struggle carrying heavy suitcases up the stairs from the street below. I have stayed there twice in the past year, the first time I had a lovely timber raftered room at the front of the hotel overlooking the street with leafy outlook and a large bathroom in the second building. This time I was travelling with an adult son and we were given a room at the back of the main building with twin beds which was a little small. The breakfast was typical Swiss buffet with lovely breads, cold meats, eggs,cereals and pastries and was more than adequate. The position of the hotel is ideal for exploring the Old Town and close to the stairs up to the University were you have a spectacular view over the city. The hotel is scrupulously clean, with soft fluffy towels and tea making facilities in the room. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Zurich.
