Vriendelijk personeel. Kamer was niet erg groot, maar was verder wel in orde. We waren in weekend van streetparade 2011. Dat het restaurant op de vrijdag gesloten was, was jammer. Normaal wel vrijdags geopend.

Location is quite good, not far from train station and near the city centre. Room is modern. Facilities are very good. Wifi is very good. Breakfast is good. Pillow is flat. I don't like my room under the roof.

The room was very quiet and clean and breakfast was excellent.The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from "Central" tram station. Single beds are really small.

Excellent and friendly staff. Nice rooms, excellent location very close to lively district and center. There is no night porter. In a real case example, one member of our group lost his keycard, which resulted in a serious problem upon returning after the reception was closed. There is no 'emergency' contact number for these cases (answering machine)...

Very good choice. Great location, in the center, close to pedestrian area, easy to reach, the railway station/tramsnearby but very quiet. Good breakfast, clean rooms, kind and helpful staff, reasonable priced for Zurich ;) for heavy luggages: there is a ramp a bit far, down the street, from the stairs up on the hill yousee near the central tram station.

Nice room with excellent beds. As you can expect in Switzerland, the hotel has very high quality fittings and furniture, and is maintained to very high standards. The staff is friendly and efficient, and there is absolutely no fuss. We've used this hotel several times as a stopover on our way to a ski resort; the close proximity to the main railway station is a definite advantage. There is very little to comment about. The hotel is close to the red light district which may cause embarrassing questions from your intrigued children...

It is very conveniently situated near the Central Station,Shopping Centre and University . Price wise it is in the middle range but gives good value for money. You may find cheaper hotels but in this price class certainly not better.

Clean and comfortable in a reasonable location Beware! We walked from the train station about 400m away. The hotel is on an elevated road up a flight of stairs, which if you have heavy suitcases could be awkward. We found Zurich extremely expensive compared to Italy and Austria, so unless you really want to go to Zurich, rather than just pass through as we did, maybe take a different route.

Hotel St Josef is conveniently located close to the railway station in Zurich, although it is a bit of a struggle carrying heavy suitcases up the stairs from the street below. I have stayed there twice in the past year, the first time I had a lovely timber raftered room at the front of the hotel overlooking the street with leafy outlook and a large bathroom in the second building. This time I was travelling with an adult son and we were given a room at the back of the main building with twin beds which was a little small. The breakfast was typical Swiss buffet with lovely breads, cold meats, eggs,cereals and pastries and was more than adequate. The position of the hotel is ideal for exploring the Old Town and close to the stairs up to the University were you have a spectacular view over the city. The hotel is scrupulously clean, with soft fluffy towels and tea making facilities in the room. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Zurich.

Reasonable price,great location for touring Zurich and eash access to trains and airport. Attentative staff and excellent European breakfast. Room was perfect for short city visit during winter months.

The hotel provides decent level of comfort and basic essentials needed for short stay. Price to quality ratio is fair enough for Zurich city. Apart of central location you find helpful staff, clean rooms and facilities, good traditional restaurant (pm). Though noisy streets are unavoidable in big cities, this hotel is situated in rather calm area. It's very scenery to cross a bridge while walking to the main business and shopping streets.
