Hotel Bern  

Good access to Bern station, but not loud, with quite calm, good atmosphere, with warm people at reception.

The restaurant, which seems to be quite nice and well-known to local residence, could not serve many dishes so this caused me a little disappointment.

This hotel doesn't have free wifi which is really inconvenient. And a bit expensive for family trip since the style of it is more suitable for business man.

Hotel is located in the city centre, not far from old town. Hotel did not meet my expectations, as it has very uncomfortable Ikea furniture, strange unpleasant design of rooms. It is acceptable for 1-2 nights just to sleep which is also difficult because of clock on the Bell Tower nearby, striking every 15 mins. Hotel is overrated, it is definitely 3-star hotel.

Nothing much apart from the exterior design

Was completely shocked when we walked into the room. The room was so small compared to what we see on the website. The most ridiculous thing is that all the rooms do not have air conditioning system!! The price is ridiculously expensive for such a small room and location (not really near to the station, around 10 mins walk)

Location staff helpfull

The room is too small. The matress is very thin and uncomfortable. They provide one pillow only. There is no round-the-clock room service, I had to buy food from the restaurant and carry it to my room. The surrounding area is not what I imagined.

Location, comfort, value for money

The hotel is well located im zentrum, next to the Zytglogge. Exactly what it's needed for those who love walking, wherever they are

Despite it's stylish room appearance, I consider that some improve could be easily achieved in aspects such as cleanliness or renewal of furniture more often ( ... , eventhough it's already a kind of up-dated ). They could take much more profit out of the hotel only by investing in common areas or in the breakfast lounge. Anyway, the hotel did not disappoint me : Good enough but could be better !!!

The hotel was close to many attactions and resturants. However, there were many alternatives on the same block.

The bed was so "firm" it felt like I was sleeping on a sheet of plywood. I had to ask three times for a fan to cool off my room because they had no air conditioning. Every day I left the window in my room wide open to insure maximum air circulation and the hotel's cleaning staff closed it each day causing the room to heat up to the point that I would start sweating as soon as I came into the room.
