The great advantage of this hotel is its location, just at the centre of the city. Confortable rooms and quite good services. Poor breakfast and limited space at the lobby. |

After a wonderful stay in Lucerne, this hotel was really disapointing. Ugly and depressing loby, non professional and unfriendly staff, poor room with old carpet and old bathroom. |

Friendly staff. Efficient check-in and out. Nice breakfast. Dinner at hotel restaurant was excellent. Perfect location - central yet quiet. Room got a tad warm. Could use more air flow through the window at night but window only opened to a small central channel. |

Excellent location; Friendly staff; Comfortable, if small, room with tea & coffee making facilities, good lighting, free mineral water and free fruit available. Wash cloths in bathroom. All rare features of 4 star hotels. No bar soap in bathroom and toiletries meagre. |

I think it is difficult to find a confortable hotel with reasonable price in Bern. There was no amenity goods in the room expected from 4 star hotels. This hotel is just same as 3 star hotel in another countries. |

Friendly staff, location, ease of check in Having stayed many times previously, there is a gradual drop in satisfaction. This time I was put in an inner room facing a tiny tiny courtyard/atrium despite the fact I had booked and paid for a room on the street or overlooking the old town. To be fair, when I complained they moved me but the room overlooking the street was still not a nice as I had stayed in on previous visits. |

the central yet still quiet location in the middle of the old town and near the railway station. We could do all sightseeing on foot. The Hotel restaurant. The breakfast was not as varied and of high quality as in other Swiss hotels of the same chain. For the price we would have expected better. |

After we were changed from a smoking to non smoking room, we found the hotel rooms very pleasant, modern and spacious. The breakfast was good and the staff were helpful. The smoking rooms, but I am a non smoker. |

good location.breathtaking view of snowy roofs from the pentagonal-shaped room 508(though expencive,it was worth it,best room of the hotel!).Paul Klee inspired carpets and wardrobes.Quiet and soft temperated, modern illuminated.Very good breakfast especially the omelet! extremely soft pillows(lastly i used the sofa pillow..),boring decoration in breakfast sale-room.I took a glance at the inner rooms..hmm,rather expencive for their size and no view at all! |

Rooms good, clean and nicely decorated. Good breakfast buffet, with some fabulous breads. Even had champagne (though too early for us for that). Though could have done with more fresh food such as fruit and salad items. Staff friendly and helpful Note on fridge in room said we would get 2 bottle of water free each day. Only got them on the first day and when asked at reception told that you only get it on the first day. Mini bar wasn't stocked so couldn't even buy any. |

The location was good We were on a busy street, close to a bar, it was very noisy, would suggest asking for a room away from the street. |

Restaurant was good. Did not like the way the staff were in such a hurry to clean the room. Check out was at 12, But at least four or five times staff were opening the door and knocking on the door to clean the room far earlier than 12. |
