The kindness of the staff; and there understanding that travelers has some times urgent needs and need to be done; and they were always there to help.

We came to Basel to have 5th wedding anniversary and this Hotel was a perfect choice as we were lucky enough to get a free upgrade to Premier room! I think that the staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was confortable and well situated. I can recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location and good value for money. Friendly staff at reception and the door man is there forever and is always greeting you with a smile

the design in the bathtub is perfect but one cant handle it when one has wet and soapy hands. parkiung was not awailable during our stay, all parkings in a 1 km perimeter were full!

Good hotel but rooms rooms need renovation, no plugs for connecting my Mac. Good brecfast.

We had a nice one night stay. Price was excellent as we got a flash deal. Staff was friendly and polite. Very good cleanliness and comfort too. Couldn't enjoy.We couldn't enjoy the steam bath because it was not working. It was really bad. Because steam bath one of them my priority. Over all it was a nice hotel. One more thing as it was a five star hoilday but really doesn't like like fancy.

We went to Basel to see the Christmas Market. The hotel location is very good as the tram station is directly in front of it (Messeplatz). Take tram #2 to get to downtown where the market is, it takes about 4 to 5 min and then 3-4 min walking, so this was very convenient. Tram #2 also continues to the main train station and takes about 7 min to get there, which was also very convenient as we arrived to Basel by train. We stayed only one night and we didn't have breakfast in the hotel, so we basically didn't have much time to interact with the staff. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable (apart from the pillows). There is a water boiler in the room and all necessary utensils and products to make coffee and tea. There is a safe, a minibar and an ironing board, however we didn't use any of those. You have the possibility to store your luggage after checkout in the hotel. I put that the value for money is good because we booked the room with a special discount deal. I don't know if the value for money will still be good with a regular price.

The pillows in the room were all feather pillows. We were unable to sleep properly as we founf them very uncomfortable. We didn't ask to see if the hotel had other types of pillows as we only stayed one night. There is wired and wireless internet in the room but it's not free.

Room was high tech and well designed.

The location is central for business but the hotel was under construction. The noise started before 8am in the morning. As five stars hotels goes this was more a 4 Star

There was nowhere to sit in the reception area and it was very noisy the cooked breakfast was cold and the boiled eggs were not cooked

They have a good Gym/spa, good location, easy acess by public transportation. Very friendly staff

Breakfast is a joke, it cost 32 chf for a choice of a 4 star hotel!
