The Bernerhof Swiss Quality Hotel is situated in the heart of Kandersteg, in the Bernese Oberland. It offers panoramic mountains views, fine cuisine and a spa area. Spa facilities at the Bernerhof include a sauna, a solarium and an ice grotto. All rooms have a balcony, a private bathroom and a cable TV. The staff was amazing. The owners were ever present, ensuring that guests were happy and comfortable. The restaurant was very good. The jewel of this hotel is a location that cannot be beat; it is quite literally across the street from the path to the lift to Oesshinensee and an easy walk to all of Kandersteg. I would definately return, and recommend to others!

The owners were wonderful. Everyone was very courtious and helpful. The location could not have been better. There was free access to the computer, they spoke English, and there was a wonderful afternoon tea and cake. The breakfast was also very nice. The view out of our window was spectacular. We would stay there again.

The hotel has an excellent location in the centre of Kandersteg. Very attentive and helpful staff. Car parking is a bit limited. The single rooms are, shall we say, snug.

Location of the hotel is very nice so that we enjoyed the view of open space and mountains in front of our hotel from our balcony. The food was excellent.

We have stayed here many times over the years and the owners and staff are warm and welcoming.There are lots of walks in summer of different grades and several areas for skiing in winter.

The service is wonderful. Very friendly. The breakfast was great and full of breads, meats, cheeses, fruits, juices, and more! I loved getting coffee served with steamed milk.

There are no surprises. It is clean, comfortable, secure and great value for money. We had to check in by 1030pm. Not enough English speaking TV Channels.

It is a top quality beautiful hotel... the Christmas decor was amazing and we received a gift from " Santa" !! We would have liked an informal Bar.. just to go for a relaxed drink ...

Die Lage des Hotels ist traumhaft, die Eigentümer/Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, man fühlt sich gleich wohl. Das Zimmer war groß und schön eingerichtet, das Badezimmer hatte sogar ein Fenster - was heutzutage nicht mehr selbstverständlich ist. Wir hatten Übernachtung mit Frühstück gebucht, das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen und auch dort sind die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben uns rundrum wohlgefühlt.
