The Bernerhof Swiss Quality Hotel is situated in the heart of Kandersteg, in the Bernese Oberland. It offers panoramic mountains views, fine cuisine and a spa area. Spa facilities at the Bernerhof include a sauna, a solarium and an ice grotto. All rooms have a balcony, a private bathroom and a cable TV. The bernerhof is a great hotel!! We stayed there for one night. The check-in was quick. The rooms are very nice, you will find all you need. The restaurant has a cosy atmosphere. The food aswell as the service was tip top! In two words: top hotel! I would just like to add a few words about the critics that you can read about this hotel: - the atmosphere is great, gives you the feeling to be welcome anytime again. - you cannot here anything from the room next to you.

The staff was amazing. The owners were ever present, ensuring that guests were happy and comfortable. The restaurant was very good. The jewel of this hotel is a location that cannot be beat; it is quite literally across the street from the path to the lift to Oesshinensee and an easy walk to all of Kandersteg. I would definately return, and recommend to others!

The owners were wonderful. Everyone was very courtious and helpful. The location could not have been better. There was free access to the computer, they spoke English, and there was a wonderful afternoon tea and cake. The breakfast was also very nice. The view out of our window was spectacular. We would stay there again.

Uitstekend hotel. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaars die ervoor zorgen dat je je meteen thuis voelt. Aangename kamers met alle comfort dat je nodig hebt. De ligging, midden in het dorp maar met een volledig vrij zicht op de bergen (als je extra betaalt voor een kamer vooraan) is bijzonder aantrekkelijk. Personeel doet in het restaurant wat al te erg zijn best, waardoor je haast niet meer durft bewegen uit schrik dat ze weer iets zullen komen bijschenken, vragen of alles naar wens is, enz. De prijs is correct, zonder meer.

Die Lage des Hotels ist traumhaft, die Eigentümer/Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, man fühlt sich gleich wohl. Das Zimmer war groß und schön eingerichtet, das Badezimmer hatte sogar ein Fenster - was heutzutage nicht mehr selbstverständlich ist. Wir hatten Übernachtung mit Frühstück gebucht, das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen und auch dort sind die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben uns rundrum wohlgefühlt.
