Location

The price - all Geneva hotels have exaggerated pricing. If you have to be in Geneva you must pay up. If only in transit, go over to France for the night.

There is no ice to use to drink. No drinks in the room and in the hotel.

Friendly and helpful reception staff. Bbc World on tv. Excellent location opposite main Gare Cornavin station and minutes walk from Lake Geneva and central area.

Room smelt of smoke. Decor tired, faded and looked like something out of the 1970s. Dingy lighting. Bathroom was like something out of a 1980s public swimming pool changing room. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Breakfast offering mediocre (to be charitable). Have stayed in nearby hotels of comparable standard for chf30 or so less. For the quality of the product, very over-priced. (Example: a uk Travelodge or Premier Travel Inn room would provide a comparable or superior product at around half the price). Only redeeming feature is the good location.

The location is close to Geneve station.

The sounds of TV from other room was heard until midnight.

Location could not have been more convenient. Trains, trams and buses right outside and a wide range out restaurants and bars nearby.

Bed was very small, and not very comfortable. One feather pillow each was inadequate for me.

Friendly staff, fine rooms, great location

The Location was perfect. Entrance door was about 5 meters from the main rail station underground shopping arcade, meaning you do not have far to walk outside in inclement weather. Also makes it very convenient for train travel. 5 minute walk to the Tourist Bureau and City bus tour location. 10 minutes down to Lake Geneva and the Old Town and shopping district across the river. The hotel itself is small but clean, furnishings in good condition and the room adequately sized.

The voices from the rooms are easily heared from teh other rooms that disturb others

The price I paid from booking.com well so over priced and should not have been advertised - the description of the room did not fit the room at all. I don't mind paying for quality and we were on our honeymoon and expected that from the price quoted and paid - instead we got a room that had four single beds and when I questioned the room they stated that was our superior room - very disappointed. Next night in Zurich booked through booking.com similar price but fantastic when mention on our honeymoon they upgraded us straight away to a suit - great experience and no comparison.
