Gstaaderhof Swiss Quality Hotel  

We booked a Standard bedroom, but they gave us a queen size bed standard room (meaning the bed is much smaller for a couple). When we asked for a change, the reception manager treated us unfriendly, saying to us "You don't make the rules here, if you don't like the hotel, go to the tourist office and look for a different hotel yourself".

Very nice hotel indeed. Everything very good, even the breakfast!

no ski-in ski-out. Would have been very convenient. we were having to drive to the lifts. Very central in the town tough.

FRont desk team was very friendly and helpful and polite.

They can have free wireless caccess in the rooms. We had to go to the reception area for wireless , it was very uncomfortable.

Gstaad is a beautiful mountain village and our stay at the hotel makes our weekend winter break even more lovely....so, comforting and relaxing...we could just fall asleep while looking at the snowy mountains outside the room. Overall, it was a wonderful white swiss alpine experience.

Very professionally put together product, especially service. The rooms will need to be refurbished in a year or two and the public areas are a little frumpy. Good restaurant and good value meals, attentive service, but occasionally lapses in quality. A very pleasant base for a very enjoyable location ~ Gstaad

Friendly and helpful staff

Staff was warm and accommodating. The hotel's location relative to downtown and the train station was very convenient. The Wellness Center was very pleasant and a nice way to relax after long days of hiking. Price was reasonable for Gstaad and the breakfast filling and well done.

Excellent hotel in a perfect location with friendly staff! The restaurant was harmonious and the food was good! We will be arriving in this hotel again in the future!

Freundlicher Empfang und perfekte Lage

Leider konnte man bei der Buchung das Bett nicht auswählen. Ein französisches Bett 140x210cm ist für zwei Erwachsene etwas klein und nicht wirklich bequem. Eine Auswahlsmöglichkeit zwischen Zweibett-Zimmer und Französischem Bett wäre hilfreich gewesen.

Nous avions réservé cet hôtel pour son standing, mais nous avons été très déçus des chambres. En effet, chambres assez grandes, mais salle de bain minuscule et vieillotte (bien que très propre), balcon coupé par un toit, donc pas de vue. Le personnel très efficace nous a proposé une autre chambre, avec balcon correct, mais les salles de bains sont pareilles dans toutes les chambres. Sinon très bon hôtel, mais il reste cher vu les chambres.
