A pick-up service from the train station is available, as well as a private shuttle-bus for skiers.

The service at the hotel was 5 star and they made us feel very special even when we were in our hiking boots with our German Shepherd. I will definitely go back. The outdoor whirlpool is heavenly! Especially wile it snows. We will be back! Everything was great. If there was something we were not pleased with they would have fixed it immediately but everything was great. |

Views from the room and access to Grindalwald. The hotel is trapped in a tme warp. Although service and cleanliness are fine staying at the this hotel is like being transported back to the seventies. Down to "memories" being played on the piano in the bar in the evening .... |

The balcony overlooking the Grindelwald valley and the Alps was fabulous. The hotel staff was very friendly and helped give direction with chosing hikes. The location to restaurants, train stations, hiking and shopping in Grindelwald is perfect. A lovely Swiss hotel. |

The views of the Eiger were stunning. I don't think we drew our curtains! The staff were also very helpful and friendly. It was a very relaxing and welcoming hotel and perfect as a base to explore the local hiking and sights. The hotel has an excellent location and, with a 100 year history, some grand reception rooms. The bedrooms are nice and serviceable but not luxurious and the decor is looking a bit dated now. |

We were very satisfied with everything! Staff was very kind, rooms are comfortable (all have balconies), the countryside is beautiful,.. Hotel is near the train station. |

Le personnel de l'hôtel est très dévoué et professionnel. La situation géographique est optimal pour qui souhaiterait skier à kleine Schedeick (gare à proximité pour acheminement sur les pistes par petit train très typique et charmant). Le Jacuzi extérieur permet des moments de détente très agréable après une journée de ski). Le petit déjeuner est copieux et de qualité. Nous n'avons pas eu la possibilité de participer à la soirée du réveillon du nouvel an sous pretexte d'un "dress code" obligatoire. Nous aurions aimé être informé avant notre arrivée à l'hôtel pour nous permettre d'emporter dans nos bagages smoking à queue de pie et boa en plume d'autruche ;-) |

Zentral in Bahnhofsnähe gelegen. Hübsche Wellness Anlage. Reichhaltiges Frühstück mit Gratis Prosecco und gutem Kaffee und schöner Aussicht auf Eigernordwand. Check-in erst nach 15.00h möglich. Kein warmes Essen nach 21.30h. Eher 3 als 4 Stern Hotel. Zimmer Preise an der Schmerzgrenze! |
