Family Hauser operates a family four star hotel with the best cuisine and wine list in Grindelwald. Urs Hauser is a gracious maitre de and engaging conversationalist about the region and it's history. Magnificent Eiger view rooms that are modern and efficient.

Hotel staff were outstanding - everyone from check in to housekeeper were genuinely friendly and helpful. The spa, especially the outdoor jacuzzi, were a great feature. My room was excellent, contemporary design, very functional and a great night's sleep, plus a stunning view of the Eiger. Hotel is not cheap, but is absolutely worth the price.

Wonderfull wellness and spa. A private bus brought us directly to the ski departure. Very well centered for shopping and eating.

the staff is very friendly, the hotel is very well situated and everything is cleaned up. you get a free welcome drink upon arrival and a member of the staff does show you your room not only give you the key.

upgraded hotel room We paid for a superior room but was offered a comfort room instead which was small and the colours were not nice and definetely not as advertised. Had to upgrade to an executive suite. The upgrade saved our vacation.

Excellent location, fantastic mountain views, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room, superb breakfast buffet, great indoor swimming pool and indoor and outdoor jacuzzi. Definitely would stay there again as it makes an excellent base for a skiing holiday. Everything is done to ensure a good holiday experience. Very glad I choose to stay on b&b terms as I found dinner to be a formal affair, with limited menu choice, which took up the whole evening. Thought it was a pity that a hotel of this size and quality did not have an informal eating area with greater choice of menu where a visitor could relax and chill out after a day's skiing. It didn't really matter as Grindewald is blessed with numerous good restaurants and bars where a more relaxed approach to eating and drinking takes place with greater menu choice and where the quality of the food and drink is just as good as the Belvedere and yet the prices are much more reasonable.

The location if perfect, just five minutes from the train station. The spa and heated salted water jaccuzi were wonderfull. All quest wishes are executed immediately and the staff is very friendly and most helpful. Blankets were just too warm for us.

Very nice, good reception, good food, free wireless Was not so close (10 min walk) to one of the ski lifts (the only one opened in the period we were there). This was not a major issue though.

Location and good staff Rooms should be improved further (looks,ambiance and overall comfort).Similarly the food menu should be further enhanced taking into consideration global tourists.

El equipo del hotel , son realmente amables , estan a tu servicio para que tengas una estancia verdaderamente agradable.La comida en el restaurante es excelente , hay que tener cuidado para no venirse con algun kilo de mas. Las instalaciones , el Wellness Center , se agradece despues de una larga jornada de esqui , esta muy bien equipado.
