I enjoyed the balcony overlooking the gardens. Breakfast was good and the hotel staff cheerful and helpful. I found the trip to the baths very annoying. I did not know how to use the key, or what the proceedures were for a locker or dressing room and there was nobody to ask. There was just a voice. I noticed other people looking helpless and wanting to have a live person help them. However, I suspect that you as hotel people do not operate the baths. Perhaps you could pass this thought on. I would say this is a nice 3 star type hotel based on the room which was functional. It had it's own tunnel connecting to the baths - which meant you could put on the robe and slippers provided in your room and walk straight in to the baths entering by using your room key. Entry to the baths was included in the room rate - as was breakfast which made this a good value stay. Two very minor points which did not spoil our stay: Firstly the pillow was very large and uncomfortable - but this is not unusual in some European hotels and secondly we found the room too warm and could not find how to turn the temperature down. But these are our personal comments - the pillows and temperature might be perfect for others. It certainly wouldn't stop us staying again. |
