Very friendly, happy and helpful staff. We have a two and a half year old and they went out of their way to accommodate him, especially at breakfast. There were lots of extras like free mini bar (soft drink), chocolate, nibbles, incredible breakfast spread etc. But above all their strong point was their willingness to please. The location is excellent, at the end of the funicolore from the train station. Its expensive, but all Lugano is and you get a lot of extras for the money. |

My only reservation was the way that breakfast was organized ...it was a total log jam around the buffet area with customers and staff. Everything else was great |

The Lugano Dante is a 4 star hotel with 5 star service. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious by European standards and the hotel is conveniently located near the train station, shopping, and the lake shore, all within a short walk. The breakfast buffet was one of the best, if not the best, I have encountered as part of a Bed & Breakfast package. |

It was conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, the lake, funicular, and the train. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was very good. The entire Hotel was very warm and this was due to no air conditioning. |

It was a 4 stars hotel acting as a true 5 stars one. It delivered every service as I expected and I did not find this thing in many other hotels regardless of price. Reserving a place at their parking is a must in my opinion. The access to the hotel can be done by two separate ways but only one permits the access with the car. It would have been nice to know that before arriving there. |

Great attention to detail and very friendly and generous little extras. Excellent Breakfast buffet. Excellent receptionist (Martine/Martina) Room did not have a bath...but otherwise very good value and enjoyable. |

Very nice hotel - they really went out of the way to ensure our comfort. The buffet breakfast was phenomenal by European (and most American) standards. The room was very comfortable and clean. Location was very convenient to shops and restaurants. Room was a little hot. Even though there was a thermostat, the temperature would not adjust. Shower was a little small - not a problem for me, but could be a problem for larger (more than 6' - 180 lbs) people. |

The hotel staff was wonderful. We have stayed in alot of hotels in the past year and the staff at Lugano Dante are by far the best. Everyone was so kind especially to our young children. |
