The hotel is part of an 19th century recently restored Palazzo, located in the heart of Lugano's old town, a few steps from the lake and close to the city's financial centre.

The lovely city of Lugano is known since ancient times by artists, writers and poets for its particularly mild climate, its marvellous views and luxuriant vegetation.

The Lugano Dante Swiss Quality Hotel is centrally located, only 1 minute by rack railway from the railway station and only 200 metres from the lake.

In the heart of Lugano, only a few steps from the lake and close to the city's financial and business centre. Located on quiet and luminous Piazza Cioccaro, in a completely pedestrian area but still easily reachable by all our clients.
The nearest airport is Milan, which is approximately 80 km away.

The two young ladies we had the pleasure of dealing with on the front desk were very very helpful, and friendly. The buffet breakfast is fantastic. Location is perfect - a 5 minute cable car ride from the train station, and within walking distance of everything.

Well, we found this hotel on the net and read through some of the the comments left by previous guests. We were curious to see if those good compliments which were made by others stood true. It did hold true, the breakfast for example was great. Good quality and with a wide variety. Compliments to those kitchen preps!

Easy access from train station, in the middle of town, fantastic breakfast don't eat the night before, chocolate lovers dream for breakfast

polite staff, great location, nice rooms with all you need and more than you expect for a 4 star hotel, clean, hotel management thinks about the needs of their clients. A lovely stay if the bed sheets would be 100% cotton and not synthetic. For those who don't matter this point, it is a fantastic hotel, even though a little expensive.

the bed-sheets were synthetic, you sweat in them and the heating can't be operated individually, if you open the windows it is too noisy.

Everything! I noted that on some reveiws on some websites there were comments that the standard single rooms were small, but compared to those in London or Tokyo for example I thought they were just standard size and there was still room for everything I needed.

Location was great, right in the middle of everything. Sound proof rooms (from the outside, still can hear the closing of the doors by the maids). Free minibar (even though you more than made up for it in the price). Nice selection for breakfast.

Selection in the minibar. It did not provide any liquor (as all other chains do (in which you have to pay for it), only water and soda. A few beers wouldn't have set them back too much.
