Very convenient, clean, friendly and quiet. Breakfast overlooking the city a good start to the day. Lovely decor. Good TV choice. |

Very easy access from the main train station and to the city center, quiet, nice view from the 8th floor during the breakfast. Disappointed by the fact that TV did not have dual language fonctionality. Increased fare due to congress taking place during that week so it didn't come to a great value for money for that matter. |

The location is nearby the train / tram station and eaily reached. The hospitality of hotel staff impressed me and they are very helpful to provide assistance. |

The friendlyness of the staff was really superb. The quality of the room was good. The room was rather warm, but the breakfast room was very hot, with no open window of airconditioning. |

The thing I liked most about this hotel was checking out on my final day, and trying to figure out why the hotel has an 8.2 rating by guests on this website and whether that has anything to do with the calculation method employed which takes as an input variable the sliding scale of listing fees that hotels can pick from (source: hotel owner in the UK) This hotel was a disappointment. I seem to stay in a different hotel in Basel each week, and was quite looking forward to this hotel. However: (i) a lack of any of the normal 'extra' facilities to be expected at most 4-star hotels, e.g., no gym, no in-room movies; (ii) Abnormally high charge for wifi (even for Basel); (iii) Entrance to the room itself covered with bathroom floor tiles, not carpet; (iv) Reception area tiny and uninviting. I've stayed at better appointed (and cheaper) 3-star hotels in Basel. Shame. It's safe, clean, and near the station, but very uninspiring and certainly not good value for money at the "special offer" price I paid. |

Right next to the train station (HBF) Staff is not really friendly. Pricy. Air conditioning is paid separately??? Crazy... Room service up to 10 pm, if you call reception at 9:45 to have some food they take the liberty to tell you that you should't call "late": a 4-star international hotel with no roome service after 10 pm?? Well, 10 pm is a "late" dinner time for some countries but obviously not all over the world... Anyway, quite dissapointing. I would not recommend this hotel except for the fact that is quite close to the central train station. |

Ottima posizione di fronte alla stazione, ma non rumoroso e di buon livello Ha l'entrata rialzata e si accede alla reception solo con scala e quindi le valigie pesanti sono un pò un problema. Ma è una cosa di poco conto.... |

Das Personal ist sehr höflich und sehr flexibel. Spalt zwischen Zimmertüre und Gang ist sehr groß. Man hört alles vom Gang herein und auch Licht dringt sehr viel durch. |

Centraal gelegen. Mocht gratis parkeren op hun stoep. Uitstekende kamer met goede bedden. Goed ontbijt inbegrepen. Hulpvaardig baliepersoneel. Het hotel heeft in iedere kamer een internetaansluiting voor eigen laptop, maar er is geen pc beschikbaar voor hotelgasten die even op het internet willen kijken. |
