Convenient location. No air conditioning which was understood up front. The street noise was very loud with windows open but the hotel has insulated windows and blinds that shut out all street noise. The ony problem is that the room would become stuffy with the windows closed.

Perfect location, very close to train station. Nice bath tube. Very sympathetic staff, specially at the front desk. Could hear water being flushed in other rooms, and other guests knocking doors and speaking loudly early in the morning (maybe they thought they were in a Disney excursion). Anyway, didn't hear sound from outside the hotel, what was good. Old small TV placed close to the feet of the bed, so it was almost impossible to watch it without getting a neck pain.

The location of the hotel couldn't have been better, right across from the station. Breakfast was good and the staff extremely helpful. The views from the room were an added bonus.

Perfect location, friednly staff, Starbucks coffee shop on a ground floor, a really perfect Lounge bar above, among the best I ever observed during my European trips. Havent found any air conditioning device that should by notion be present in such a hotel rated by four stars. Instead, there was a ventilator that's might be some solution for a winter season but not one for summer...

Great location, 2 minutes walk from the train station, and close to shops, restaurants and old town. We had a room on the top floor which faced the river, and this was lovely. Rooms were large and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and shower was spacious. Decent breakfast. The shower smelled of drains, the carpet was worn, the curtain was thin and did not keep out the streetlights. The hotel is on a busy corner and it's quite lively/noisy. They state there is free wi-fi, but this is only from the starbucks downstairs and in the reception area.

Good location-across from the train station and the lake with its ferries and the bridges that take you into the old city. We had asked for a quiet room facing a side street which we did receive. The room was very large, sitting area with a pullout couch, large desk, big bathroom and clean. Comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet was fine. Room had no air conditioning but we had a portable fan which was adequate. The hotel entrance shared space with a Star Bucks..Since the main entrance is on the corner opposite the train station there seemed to be alot of people gathering outside , partially because of the take out coffee and the little bar next door. However everyone is orderly and by the ;late evening there is no one outside.

Location is amazing, directly beside the train station of Lucerne, restaurants and marts are so close, clean rooms and nice breakfast. Nice staff. I booked standard double room, with 2 children below 6 years, stayed for free and also the room had an extra bed (free) embedded inside the wall. Nothing, was really great

The location next to the train station and close to the concert hall, museums, restaurants and local transportation was perfect. Amenities were fine, Starbucks just downstairs and the tourist office across the street. i was there during a heat wave and there was no air conditioning in the rooms, although there was a fan. This may have been an unusual condition...

Our room was fantastic tucked away at the back, which what we wanted, peace and quiet, as we had just completed a hectic tour of Italy. The bathroom was enormous but most of all its close proximity to the train station and Luzern in general, walked out the front door and you were only minutes from walking over the lake bridge to Old Luzern, or catching a ferry, just great location

“We were given a studio room that had been newly updated. It included a garden just for the room. Luzern is a very expensive city so the value of the room was good in relation to the inflated prices generally for food, wine, and accommodations in the city.” Linda, Oakdale |
