We wanted a place near the station and hotel Monopol was exactly two minutes from Lucern station. The ferry terminal was 5 minutes from our hotel. It was great because we did not have to spend on taxi fare. |

The room was comfortable and with a nice view of Lake Lucerne. The hotel's location, which is just opposite the Lucerne train station, is excellent. |

Stayed for 4 nights with my elderly mother in May end. The hotel is at a very convenient location, next door to the Lucerne main railway station. Very near to the lake also. Rooms are reasonably large. Breakfast is good. One of the very good places to stay in Lucerne. |

It is convenient, this hotel is very close to the train and bus station. The room is too small and TV is very old fashion (still use CRT 14") |

Location was fantastic and the breakfast was good. After I checked in, I went to my room and it had not yet been prepared. the bed was very uncomfortable |

The hotel was extremely close to everything including museums, covered bridges, and train station. Bar upstairs on the 7th floor was a cool place to hang out. Charged for wireless internet 25 euro for one day. Seems way too expensive and petty. |

Walk around the Place Of Interest as the travel information office introduced, it's take about 2 hours to travel & take photo those historical building, bridge with clean rivers, mountain & cool whether there. The hotel is take 1 min walking distance to checking & Luzern place of interest is opposite the hotel only, very convenient. |

Convenient location. Almost adjacent to Luzern railway station. The room and facilities need to be renovated.(noisy and old room,very small TV etc.). The food was poor. |

It is very near to the Luzern Train station. No problem in commutation. In the center of the city As it is in the center of the city you cannot open the windows as it is very noisy. |

Next to the train station and within walking distance to the city attactions. Nice lake view from my room. Good breakfast. Looks old and needs renovaton. It should have somethinglike a coffee maker so thatwe can make tea or coffee. |
