Excellent ,helpfull,friendly staff

Very good breakfast but shortage of fresh fruit

Staff is not friendly as we expect. not smile,don't want to give advise for the guest like us as we are the foreingner to their country.

it wasn't perfict location, i like the other side of the lake. I've been in many hotels in the world this is the first hotel ever charg the geust for bath's slipper. they charged me 5 CH for it !! No Free wifi in the rome.

It was close to the train station. The room was spacious and nicely designed close to the city area. Nice breakfast.

There is no free wifi and you need to come down to the lounge area to use free wifi from Starbucks.

This hotel is located in a good place. It is close to the lake and lots of bars and restaurants. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.

The staff are not helpful and friendly. This hotel is not value for money at all ! I do not know how it got 4 stars ! It has no parking and you should pay around 18 euro for parking the car in the street. Also, you can just use internet in the Starbucks, which is located beside the hotel's lobby ! I had asked them a room for a group of four, but they gave us 2 rooms in 2 different floors!!!! I have been in Europe for 8 days and this hotel was the most expensive and terrible one !

Excellent location, very helpful staff, loved that they held our bags for us and our room was ready even though we showed up early.

Wish wi-fi was free.

Location location Location

It was a great stay there. Spent 3 days 2 nights there with wife and 7 years old kid. It's a great hotel just across the railways (anyone coming through trains will enjoy this). Good location for anyone plan to have 1 day travel to Titlis or other part of Switzerland areas and get back to Lucerne again. Perfectly located in central, Burger King across the street, McD and Starbuck in the same building as Hotel and lots of food shop around. 3 mins walk from the lake night boat, piers, and all the shopping store you can find.

WiFi only available free on the lobby (using starbucks) while they charger for used in the room. Guess that's the only cons that i can find.

The room was very spacious, nicely furnished and had a wonderful view over the lake. We stayed on floor 6 and did not hear any noise from the busy street outside (the windows were closed). The breakfast buffet was fantastic and even coffee was good! The staff provided us with maps and there is a tourist office right in front the hotel where you can get all the information. When we had problem with tv and radiators, the staff reacted fast.

First, access is very limited. You cannot stop with your car anywhere close. So you have to leave your car miles away and drag all your baggage to the hotel. It appears the hotel has inner parking but as we did not reserve it (as booking.com said no reservation needed!), we did not get it. We were offered a parking vignette for 20 francs a day. We put it on the car and still received a fine. It appears the vignette has to be replaced by a new one every 24 hours! (So you cannot go out of the city for longer.) As no one informed us about it and we believed the vignette was for all our stay (2 days), the hotel agreed to pay the fine. Another problem is two single mattresses in a double bed, not understandable at all. The tv was very old, small and did not function well, they replaced it with even smaller one (15''). Also out of three mini radiators only one worked on the last day, so it was a bit cold. The hotel staff tried to fix them but no luck. On the whole though, we liked the hotel.

Great location. Right next to the Lucerne main train station. Within the hotel building itself at the street level there is a Starbucks, McDonalds and other food outlets. A short walk from the old city where you will find great restaurants and bars. The hotel serves a good breakfast. Rooms are comfortable rooms. Though its on the busiest part of the city, the rooms are fairly well sound insulated and you won't get disturbed in the night.
