Waldstätterhof Swiss Quality Hotel    

All round good well run hotel. We had a junior suite which was spacious and nicely presented. Good staff.

Breakfast had limited options and presented without much flair, same applied to the restaurant night menu. No bar.

Good location,across the rail station near the lake.

Very friendly staff.. We had no issues getting checked in even though we showed up 4 hours early for the hotels recommended check in of 2 pm. The restaurant is fantastic. The food and service were excellent and the buffet breakfast was traditional siwss style.. Sliced meats breads and yogurt. They even put out bacon sausage and scrambled egss..

I understand that parking is at a premium in the cities but if you are paying over 300 chf a room I think 20 chf a night for both parking and WiFi is a bit steep. Also ran out of shower supplies and tissues in the bathroom.

Help at the desk could be improved. Not very helpful on where to go and where to eat. Tour info could be better.

Extremely convienent to the train station but not noisy - couldn't tell you were near the station. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was good. Room for 3 was fine, large enough that we were not crowded. Nice hotel that I would recommend to anyone traveling by train and close to the the "Old City" part of Lucerne

Value was good as Switzerland is expensive and so the hotels are priced accordingly.

Location was good - right next to boat/bus/train station, sight seeing/shopping/eating places nearby, staff was friendly, breakfast was v.good, had kept kid's toiletries for my son

Location was excelllent; Staff very friendly and helpful. Especially the house keeping (Andrea: she is such alovely lady and she is doing a very good job: very clean room)

The walls seemed to be very thin. Was woken up frequently by the neighbour coming home late night and taking a shower. Had the impression, the shower is next to my bed.

The WC don't lock.

I just love the location of the hotel. It's just next to the Lucerne main station. All the attractions are within distance! Rooms are very spacious and and comfortable. We stayed on the 4th floor and it's really not noisy at all.

Not many variety of breakfast choices. But it was ok.

Breakfast was excellent.

They charged me more than was quoted on booking.com

WiFi should be included

I booked two rooms with the same price, but one was spacious and one was a little bit small. The location is great, most staffs are nice, but a young woman with black hair is cold and has no smile. The breakfast is fine, they also provide luggage storage service which is very helpful!

Location, just next to train station. Breakfast was quite good.

I know that early check-in is not a norm, but if they can offer it, that will be very impressive to clients. We stayed on Saturday, guys in the bar just opposite were extremely noisy and shouting whole night almost until 5a.M. (that's why the hotel provide a pair of ear plug?). Generally, the hotel was not bad, but over-priced for it's facilities.

Very basic hotel, unfriendly indifferent front desk personel but not rude, basic breakfast.

Friendly staff at front desk provided many useful information. Just 2 min. away by walk from railway station even with luggage. We also had a pleasant dinner time in its restaurant at ground floor.

Stingy. No free WiFi access? That's a pretty standard feature in hotels in Europe these days. Also, they wanted a deposit of 10 Euro to borrow an ac adapter.

Wonderful, friendly, really helpful & efficient reception staff. Generous, varied breakfast served in an attractive environment by attentive staff. Hotel well situated for an overnight stay close to restaurants & historical sites. Excellent parking provided for a fee. Highly recommend to others.

Very convenient location, clean and comfortable

Location is ok. Next to Luzern Station.

Many... Room wasnt ready, even hour after hotel check in time. We had to wait. No apology from reception at all. Deserves 2 star rating. Bed keeps on sliding and very uncomfortable. If you leave key by reception and want to collect it, you have to wait till they finish with all the check in customers (Worst thing ever to wait). Breakfast was average. No temperature control in the room. Room service almost dont exist. Room gets cleaned in the evening not afternoon. My advice do not stay in this hotel.
