Bed is comfortable. Breakfast spread is good.
Staff not really friendly. Location slightly far from the town center n main shopping area.
Very friendly staff, great hotel in a good location.
good location, the bus stop is in front of the hotel and there is COOP near the hotel. the hotel has good fascilities; kitchen
Our meal at the restaurant was very good.
Our room was too hot and too noisy so we got little sleep. No air-con means you have no way of cooling the room except opening all the windows and letting all the traffic noise from the street in. Pillows were much too soft for comfortable sleep.
From the train station to the hotel, it takes roughly 20 mins by walk. Staffs are friendly. Nothing to complain about the internet and breakfast.
Everything Such a beautiful place The lady in the breakfast room was very friendly Close to lake for walks Bus stops right outside Free pass to lifts/bus if you stay more than one night.
Nothing at all, thankfully we only stayed 2 Nights
The noise from the building work right next door , the noise from the road, the lack of air con,the fact the hotel is totally unmanned at night ,and street access is accessible all night, the lack of lighting in the room . I could go on !!
From location to endearingly warm staff. ... Everyt thing
Very cute, well decorated, extremely clean. Hotel restaurant was very good with good service and reasonable prices. Bus and lift pass included with 2 nights stay.
Room was a bit small, not much closet space.
breakfast should be earlier
Location - near the lake. Helpful(ish) reception staff Bar staff on second day (man) was lovely Use of free bus / train / gondola tickets was good
Bar staff on first night (woman) spent most of her time talking with friends on the street and hotel guests made to feel a nuisance. Waitress at breakfast could be described as surly at best. Things improved so obviously on the second day of our stay - the owner / senior manager appeared to be visiting. Pillows were much too soft
Good location near to the Lake (5 min walk) - you can also walk to the station in 20 mins, or into the main shopping area of St Moritz in 15 mins. Restaurant/bar downstairs was convenient, with ok food.
Only 1 pillow per person and they were pretty soft. The double bed has 2 separate single mattresses pushed together - but there's still a gap between them. We were charged 5CHF for a jug of tap water - with no warning given we were not given a drinks menu before ordering, which made it more expensive than the coke we ordered!
Small uncomfortable rooms.
Good pizza restaurant and bar
Major shop close by,bakery right next door, pizza restaurant and bar downstairs .
Pleasant hotel. Nice breakfast. Rooms can get a bit warm and stuffy. For expensive St Moritz it was a good deal.
Anywhere else in the world it would be regarded as being too expensive for what it was.
We liked the Fact that we were near the lake walking distance, the bus stop outside was very convenient to go around. The breakfast in the morning was good.
We missed having an electric kettle in our room to make our early morning tea or coffee.
The room was a good size and the modern bathroom had a bathtub. Staff in bar were pleasant. Breakfast was adequate.
Booked a superior double room with mountain views facing the lake. I expected a view of the lake! There was a partial view between buildings. The wi-fi was very slow. I would stay elsewhere next time.
The facility is excellent, especially the bath room. We ordered a Pizza from the ground floor, it is good,
We modified our reservation to add one additonal bed one month before we arrived. Both booking.com & Hotel Piz sent me the confimation for the modification. However, the staff claim they are not aware of it until I showed her the confirmation.
I found that I locked myself out of the room at 630am but couldn't get to reception or exit the building. Everyone was locked. I could be dangerous in a fire. The staff who arrived to clean let me sit in the reception until 7am. I wrote to the hotel that there should be a code to these doors vs being locked-in. It was a panic!
Upgraded to a superior room . Thank goodness. Other room felt claustrophobic with no view at all ( other than a brick wall to the next building)
The pillows were too soft.
great room for 5 people with kitchen location near supermarket bus stop just in front of the hotel
