Great pool for the kids but also a nice adults-only area. Kitchen was great to have. Loved looking off our porch up the valley- looking at cows and occasional trains. Fun kid-friendly hikes nearby. Would love to stay there again sometime!
We stayed in a lovely ground floor apartment next to the river. Very soothing to listen to the water going by. Kitchen is small but is decently equiped with enough for cooking. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. Location is in a valley surrounded by mountains. The actual thermal baths were very pleasant and relaxing (if you ignore below). Sauna and hammam were wonderful after a long day's hike.
1. The handling of an "accident" was unacceptable. There was poop in the water. We saw a woman complaining and pointing (we didn't know why at first) but the staff member just stood there looking for it. We thought she might have lost something. Around fifteen minutes later we saw poop floating around. We complained and the staff person remarked irritably that "management had been informed". They should have cleared the pool at once and asked us all to go to the outdoors pool. There were children swimming and swallowing water. Unacceptable for a "spa". I wonder how clean the water really is? 2. Random opening hours. When we arrived on a Saturday, we were told they were open during the week until 8:00 pm, and the hours listed on the spa door confirmed it. However, when we timed our daily outing to give ourselves an hour and a quarter swim at the end of the day, we discovered the pool closed at 7:00pm. It turned out they switched the times from 8:00 to 7:00 at a certain date in August, and the hours had now changed! Why didn't they inform us? A paper slipped under our door saying the opening times would be changing would have been great, or even simply a large sign on the spa door warning us that the times were about to change would have been helpful. We felt cheated. 7:00 pm is very early to close an indoor pool even in a normal hotel, let alone a spa. It doesn't open until 10:00 either which is ridiculously late if you want an early swim. There were lots of people, too, so it wasn't as if it was empty. We felt as if they were saving money at our expense. 3. There is a shower in one bathroom, and a shower over the bath. There were six of us so we used both, but as the bath had no screen and no curtain, the bathroom flooded. How much would it cost to add a shower curtain? 4. There was supposed to be a washing machine in the basement but the only way to use it was to buy a card for around SFr 30!!
Lovely apartments, very clean and great view. Apartment had 2 balconies, beds very comfortable. Pool complex and sauna excellent and warm - both inside and out. I managed to fracture my clavicle on mountain bike and staff were very helpful. The young lady who was there when we checked in was the most helpful we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with and was very willing to help with any questions during our stay. Recommended ++++
Just the prices generally in Switzerland though Thermes Parc apartments are priced appropriately especially considering the facilities.
i like the view of the location the property is clean and kitchen is well prepared
some of the staff aren't friendly. there is kind of racism there is a building only for arabic people. also you can't use the swimming pool if you ware islamic cloth finally it is very difficult to get to the location if you don't have a car and the road is very narrow
Quite. Private of apartments
BASICALLY I LIKE ALL, LOCATION WAS VERY BEAUTIFULL,ESPECIALLY THE SWIMMING POOL ,INDOOR AND OUTDOOR POOLS ,REALLY LIKE IT
Everything was perfect. We had a fantastic spacious room with an amazing view on the entire valley. The room was very clean and very comfortable with fully equipped kitchen. Our car was parked underground and the access to our apparment was very easy (big lift, no problem with big bags). Free access to Thermal baths is already worth big money. We were there each day at the openning and being alone in those great thermal pools/jacuzzi is priceless (it was late August, low season). Highly recommend.
Nothing to complain about.
Everything was great: location, apartment: spacious, very comfortable, clean, nice and quiet, beautiful mountains, great indoor and outdoor pool
I cannot think of anything! The weather wasn't really kind to us but cest la vie!
Beautiful scenary and ver clean room and almost new facility... and very nice sanuar, swiming pool... very nice and I will visit there again in a soon
door lock system is very unconvinient and Wi is was not so good access ... !
Excellent staff, very willing to accommodate our needs. We had a problem with the first apartment, and they upgraded us, free of charge
Great location. Good spa/thermal bath.
Not good value for money in terms of the quality of the studio. Extremely poor quality of the bed. Unprofessionalism of the staff/management in handling clients' requests.
Wonderful outdoor and indoor pool. Not too crowded despite high season. Parking garage and connecting elevator is nice. Not too far from charming Champery and good skiing areas.
Resort apparently under development (though no significant construction noise).
nice modern and clean apartments, readiness of the staff to help, combination of skiing and thermal facilities.
The basic kitchen equipment is rather light. In addition, providing enough paper towel and dishwasher powder or capsule for one week would be a nice plus and clearly not cost them that much...
Rec area is perfect "after ski". Clean and large appartment.
Kitchen may have been better equiped (like a sharp knife and hand blender) and included basics such as cookong oil, pepper and salt etc.
Thermal Spa, size of appartment.
Spa opening times really not suited for families skiing. On-site resturants very poor. No gym. Kids can't use sauna/hamman.
great location and very good combination of ski and thermal bath.
Too hot heating in the appartment. Bed in parental room too smal.
the spa was nice and clean. the location was nice. the rooms were TOO HOT with no way to control the temp. the apartments were well equipped. it was quiet.
this is not a hotel so there is really not a staff to help answer questions. there were not any pamphlets about the area and there was NOT info about the apartments such as where to deposit trash or how to use the tv's. a basic booklet about the area and workings of the apartment would have been nice. you have to bring your own hotel spa towels.
Loved the baths.
Apartment was so hot and there is no controls.
Lady from Reservation department was very friendly.
All the rest of the staff at the reception and snack bar wasn't professional and polite!
Great area and view, SPA facility excellent, clean and functional rooms. Very kind personnel, but with limited authority.
When it comes to services: they will never do an extra mile for anyone, but the usual "take it or leave it" approach - common in Switzerland. No shower gel or shapoo available, no towels provided in the SPA, no veggies for breakfast, etc..Temperature in apartment was extremely high (despite the cold season) and heating had no temperature controler at all. Had to ask multiple times for a mechanic person to come and adjust heating, but never managed to properly resolve issue - we all suffered of the dry and hot air. (windows could not be left open due to young children). Apartment was in a different building than the SPA facility, requiring us to walk over and back, dressed up in the cold.
The apartments are very new and clean. It is located very close to the thermes baths. The staff speaks English and are all very nice and helpful.
There is not much night life around the hotel. You will also to drive at least 5-10 mins to get to the closest grocery store to buy food. I also wished they had provided small soaps and shampoo in the hotels. Their restaurant is quite small with the basic food and the food selection is not big.
Access to bains/Thermes parc included Nice mountains around clean and new apartments
access with children under 4 to Thermes parc permitted only on Sunday - could not enjoy full family thermes part on Saturday Difficulty to operate with keys. Room was smaller than last time with exactly same price and i mentioned it at the reception - she said it is exactly same room which was not true. REception personnel very slow and inefficient
new, spacious appartments with excellent mountain view very well equipper - we stayed in Mont d'au building - it was amazing - two bathrooms, spacious bedroom and living room for 4 adults. Free entrance to Spa facilities on arrival and departure day
no shops near by, it would be nice to have a shop in the main building with some basics like baby diapers for swimming or some toiletries, water, etc
Great place to spend a weekend at. The nature is amazing, the spa is just great.
