Tulip Inn Beaulieu Lausanne

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights whilst on a touring holiday. staff were very friendly and breakfast superb its a short walk to the old town and 20 minute walk to the lake.

new, well decorated clean room and friendly staff, the location is just 2mins' walk to the bus station, very convenient. Good value for money.

The room was small but quite nicely furnished. We liked an old armchair and harmonious coulours of furniture. The breakfast was good and the hotel stuff helpful.

The slippers for guests are a good idea for those with tiger feet. The rooms are rather small especially in comparison with the price. We noticed that there were not many guests staying at the hotel at the time of our stay.

The room was small and no A/C just a ventilator!

Helpful staff, parking, and relative location to motorway were all useful. As was the free bus pass made available to us, which enabled us to got to Ouchi.

There was a lack of local resaurants available within walking distance, the bus pass overcame that, but it is a 20 min bus ride to the lake. Not good if you were late as we were.

the possibility to access the internet from the lobby, the breakfast was ok, however the coffee was terrible.

Central but quiet location, very friendly and helpful personnel. Good breakfast. Garage for the car.

No air-conditioning, yet the fan provided quite sufficient cooling.

The staff were brilliant; friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The beds were really comfortable, the tv had a good range of channels and the breakfast was lovely. I can't fault how comfortable it all was and we were made to feel very welcome. The bus pass was very handy too and made getting round easy, efficient and cost effective.

This is a personal observation and would not stop me from staying at the hotel again but the decor could do with a little updating and three beds in one room was a bit of a squeeze but nothing that was not manageable for a four night stay.
