The location is good. Breakfast is ok, when only staying a few days (you are served the same selection every day). The room is small, but has what you need for a comfortable stay. Please note that the inside walls are very thin!!! No chance of sleeping when your neighbour returns to his room during the night... |

Reasonably priced and centrally located The entry is poor-- you wonder where you are headed when you walk into the fairly dimly lit and dirty door/entry/iniital lobby/dirty and old elevator... you should try to do something to fix up the downstairs part as that is the guest's very first and critical impression. |

We had a fabulous stay at the Hotel Tor. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable and quiet. The continental breakfast was excellent. |

Excellent location - in the center of the city, just about 15 minutes of walking from Geneva lake, and very close to the railway station. Polite and supportive hotel staff. Small cramped room; breakfast was served in the room. |

Spotlessly clean, somewhat 'hip' style -- not your 'run-of-the-mill' hotel -- it felt comfortable and home-like I noted that the value was 'good', but that was only because i was there during a very expensive, busy week in Geneva. |

The staff was friendly and helpful. When my friend called the front desk, they were very helpful in directing me to the restaurant. Very personable staff. Felt more like a home than a hotel. If compared to a big chain or standard hotel, this place seems a little quirky. The front desk is a desk, like from an office. But the quirkyness and uniqueness is a part of the charm which is not a bad thing if you know what to expect. |

Very good location Thin walls. I don't like the idea with breakfast being served in the room, with no buffet to choose from. It was all sweet food, no cheese at all. |

Great hotel for family visit to Geneva. Centrally located, large room and good value. Staff helpful and room was quiet. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. |

Not luxury rooms, but you have all you need; functional and big enough (compact room). It is superbly located, 5 minutes walking from Cornavin Station and 3 minutes walking from the lake. Friendly staff. Breakfast includes a drink (coffee, tea or milk), a toast, a croisant and an orange juice; you can add some fruit or corn flakes on request. I would reccommend for low budgets (within hotels). Maybe the blankets; it was too warm for the end of summer... |

Good room rates and very attentive service. I was able to check-in by noon, so I could leave my baggage and take a shower prior to visiting the city. Good in-room breakfast served on time. Although the rooms have no air-conditioned devices, there are fans that help to keep a good temperature most of the summer days. They should definitely consider giving wi-fi service for free. The current pay-for-wi-fi scheme (CHF 10.00 per hour) is very expensive. |

Perfect location - 1 block from lake; 2 blocks from covered parking. Free public transport tickets for duration of stay (boat, bus, tram). Free parking in front/back of hotel after 1900hrs M-Sat; all day Sun. Clean. IKEA style deco. Plenty of storage space. Safe box. Clean/crisp linens. Three fans provided. Very difficult to find quadruple rooms - this was perfect for us w/13 and 17 year olds; each had their own bed; comfortable room. Considering how expensive Geneva is; this was a good value. Warm weather required open window to sleep - main artery passes by hotel (Mont Blanc avenue) - sooooo noisy; couldn't sleep either night. Would stay here again only during cooler seasons. Otherwise would steer clear of busy roadways. Breakfast was made up of only carbs. (croissant, toast, butter, jam, orange juice, coffee or hot chocolate). Fresh fruit or even hard-boiled eggs would have been nice....something with substance and less sugar. |

Convenience to the main central train station in Geneva. Just five minutes walk away. Close to lots of restaurants and cafes to eat. Get a free card to use for the time of the stay on the public transport. Reception staff speak good English and are friendly, helpful and organised. Rooms were provided with fans as there is no airconditioning. The room safe is useful. Reasonable value for money considering the cost of staying in Geneva. Wasn't air conditioned. The fan did an OK job but as it was hot when I was there it was either sleep with the window closed or leave it open and listen to the traffic noise. Reception is on the third floor which is odd and confusing when you arrive. Breakfast is average. No reception staff on duty after 11.00 p.m. at night. Internet use is pretty pricy as a lot of hotels I stay now offer free internet access for guests. |

It was close to the lake and also very central without any security issues. Thus I had no worry in finding the place at night. very central to major bus stations and gare de cornavin which is a very nice feature. The room I stayed lacked air condition and had practically no windows. I was looking at a stationary office through the interior of the apartment. Given these conditions it was fairly expensive. |

Its location which was very central; the simply elegant furnishings and cosy atmosphere and cleanliness; the comfortable standard of the room and its furnishings and fittings; the reasonable price (for Geneva). My bed was a bit too hard. |

The lack of air conditioning made the room very hot in July (tho there was a fan in the room to help). The street noise was very loud, so opening the window to cool things off didn't help us get to sleep readily. |
