Hotel Toscana  

Excellent. Good rooms and good service. Very friendly. Although stated as paid internet in the room, the front desk lady gave us one hour free which was more than enought for us to use during a holiday trip. The attached restaurant was very good since in one of the rainy days we dind't need to go out looking for a restaurant. I reccomend it!

A very clean and comfortable Hotel with very large and warm Bedroom with a Lift to all floors

Suggestion Morning Tea can be served in the room instead of having only in the breakfast. . regards

It is near and within walking distance from/to the train station. There are restaurants nearby. The only reason I got this hotel is that I can book a quadruple room for my family with young kids.

I didn' like the pillow, it was too soft and has very little stuffing in it. I couldn't have a good sleep. The breakfast was very basic. At late night and early morning, nobody is in the reception in case you need something. We paid our bills in the evening because we have to leave the hotel by 6:30am and there will be nobody at the reception to assist us. It was strange for a 3 star hotel.

We were staying for three nights. It was fantastic. We like this Hotel.

We was greated by a lady who could speak very good English on reception, I think she run the place by herself as she was always there.. Day and night. We ate in the restaurant in the evening after going to look around for somewhere for dinner, the prices were really reasonsable compared to other places the food was delicious, we shared mozarella and tomatoe as a starter and I had Spagetti bolognese and my boyfriend had chicken and chips for mains... Very nice not massive portions but enough. It is so centrally located you couldnt get any better. I lady couldnt be more helpful in the evening I went down to get a corkscrew at 2am and she was still around to open up he bar and then let me have 2 champagne glasses to take to the room and was laughing the whole time as she couldnt believe we wanted to open it up so late. The room was basic but had everything you need and was very clean, also had loads of English music channels whilst getting ready to go out. I would definately stay back here, the whole feel was really nice. Also had parking which was a bonus

The breakfast wasnt fantastic but for the price you pay for the room is adequate. It consisted of bread, cereals and crossiants. Cappachino wsa nice though from the machine.

Great location, near Interlaken West train station. Right near lots of souvenir shopping, restaurants, etc. Friendly, comfortable room.

No free internet (5 chf for 30 minutes!), our room smelled of smoke, though it was a "non smoking" room...

It has a warm atmospher like being home

Hotel Toscana was a wonderful choice for us. Family type, friendly staff, clean, relaxing and with an excellent location a few steps away from the main street of Interlaken. Easy communication of staff in several languages makes trip easier. Hotel restaurant serves good food at convenient prices. I recommend it.

Hotel Toscana is situated in a prime position in the centre of Interlaken. The street is pedestrianised and there is a wonderful atmosphere especially in the evenings when people are eating outdoors. The private car park is a wonderful asset. The food served in the Trattoria is excellent and staff are friendly.

The hotel is in dire need of refurbishment as bathrooms are dated - need modern white suites and better lighting as do the bedrooms. White towels and white bedding are a premium requirement and better quality pillows and duvets are needed. We missed Michael on this visit.
