Central location, lovely veiw across the lake, but no tea or coffee in rooms. Went to family wedding and nuechatel is a lovely place to stay, No tea or coffee in rooms,

Situated in city center, you can walked to many places to see. When I stayed here in 2010, signal of Wireless Internet was too week to use. It seems they improved this problem, although access speed is still slow.

No Wi-Fi connection available while this is an extra service! I didn't pay for it since it was not working but it is very surprising nowadays to be unable to connect to internet at a hotel.

The location was good, close to the lake. Free parking No Air Conditioning in room. No Fan in room. No Fridge of Minibar in room. No ice making machine or facility to deliver ice to the room. Hotel charges for internet access.

Excellent location. Lobby was depressing. The room was a reasonable size with good views. But there was too much unnecessary furniture, such as "period" chairs and a table.

Have stayed there many times, indeed I once celebrated my 70th Birthday by inviting my family there for a four day visit. Has an excellent position overlooking the lake and the port of Lake Neuchatel, and therefore very easy to arrange trips to other places, or simply to use the beaches that are provided on the lakeside. Also very near town centre of Neuchatel with its many restaurants, shops and historical sights. Only downside lacks convenience of on site dining, other than breakfasts, and certainly at present prices in Switzerland are dearer than usual, due to the rate on exchange of the swiss francs

Very good location and free parking! Even as the room was classified as street side room we had lake view! Missing Air-condition. Room was very hot. Due to normal city noise windows could only be opened before going to bed. (Windows are very well noise insulated!)

Location - at the beautiful lake Neuchatel and close to the city centre - 5 minutes walk to the main shopping and restaurant area. Comfort - rated fair, because the room had no aircondition. During my stay it was hot 28 degC.

Well situated for exploring the town. We mistakenly entered what we thought was the hotel reception, but it was the restaurant. Despite the fact that we had cases with us- which suggested that we were coming to stay - the waitress was unwelcoming and really quite rude when pointing out our error. As a result, we ate elsewhere.

The location is good, right at the harbour and the lake. This hotel has no soul. Furniture and carpeting from the 80s with no taste and no style. The room was small and very basic. The staff at the reception desk was very business-like and neither warm nor friendly.

Reasonably comfortable hotel but nothing special The hotel is right by the harbour. On the night we stayed, there was a loud music event at the harbour that went into the early hours. The hotel room was too hot but it was too noisy to open the window. Breakfast was not included in the price.

Great location right on harbour. Lake room had super view over harbour. Reception provided free pass for public parking nearby. Excellent pizza in restaurant downstairs, and excellent breakfast in hotel. Room a bit small.

the hotel was very central to our needs and whilst basic with a small room it was also very comfortable and very clean with a ready supply of hot water for showers the walls were a bit thin so we could hear a lot of noise at times but saying that it was generally a qiet hotel

Hatte für ein "grand lit" angefragt. Ueberraschenderweise und für mich sehr positiv erhielt ich 1 Upgrade = Doppelzimmer/grand lit zur Alleinbenutzung. . Uebernachtete FR+SA-Nacht, das Hotel liegt direkt am See (hatte Zimmer mit Seesicht), leider gab's Wochenend-Musikaktivitäten plus ausgehende Jugend, die bis fast 4h morgens am Seeufer sassen und plauderten/schwatzten - dadurch war die Nachtruhe eher gestört. Zudem war's ein "heisses" Wochenende, dh eine Klimatisierung/Klimaanlage wäre wünschenswert gewesen, da auch die Nachttemperaturen weit über 20 Grad betrugen.
