location with mountain view and river view; quietness, friendly staff, bright color inside the room, big bathroom the double bed is comprised of 2 single bed, so it kept seperating out during the night which is annoying |

This hotel is very affordable and offers cosy rooms with a reasonable view. I particularly recommend the Garden Studio which is excellent as it's large and very chic indeed. Never thought I would get such great rooms for the price! |

I was most surprised at the excellent service given to us on all accounts. We had a renovated and tastefully furnished bedroom overlooking the river and Alps and could not have wished for more. Everyone was most helpful - car parking provided and also WIFI |

I stayed for three nights. This hotel has a good breakfast, clean, comfort room, good view from my room, not so far from public car park, staff hospitality, safety box in the room. The room rate is relatively expensive, special discount shall be promoted for us next time. The pillow is too soft and we could not sleep well (this is a common comment from the guests, so please change). Car park at the back of the hotel was only available at the last day and the area is too small. |

The lady at reception (Margaret) was nice and offered good suggestions of the city attraction. Breakfast is a bit simple |

Our window overlooked the bottom part of the Lucerne lake - what a sight! Even though it's not in the Alt Stadt, it is close enough to allow for walking. The staff were very helpfull. The room was comfortable, in an understated way. Our initial feeling was backpacker accommodation - but it was far better than that. It was a bit of a schlep getting from the station to the hotel, by foot (the road works didn't help), but that was a minor inconvenience, compared to the advantages of the price, location and friendly service. |

The location of this hotel is excellent with some rooms overlooking the lake. It is easy to walk to the railway station and to all tourist spots using the very good public transport system. It is a beautiful walk to and from the restaurants in the old part of Luzern. Our room was spacious and very clean with a roomy modern bathroom. the breakfast was adequate without being excessive. Highly recommended for those seeking a clean hotel close to town and at a reasonable rate. |

Great location in an old part of town, we had a lovely river view with balcony. Very helpful staff- advised us re visit to Mt Pilatus and best place for Swiss meal- both highlights of our trip. Car parking at rear- easy walk to city. Good breakfast provided. Although the room was an excellent renovation- sound proofing in walls did not block out all the noise from next room. As always we miss not having a kettle in the room for tea making. |

the room was big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. enough space for some playing for the kids. breakfast was okay for the several mornings. not too much, but okay for us. parking is a little problem. we stayed with some family and were charged for the parking spot of the hotel, which we didn't use at all. but my family w/ same last name did. they say it wasn't charged, but there was clearly "parking" on the bill, which they said was "tax". which is -i think- still not true, cause the tax was already on the bill. it was 18CHF, so whatever... not worth fighting for. |

it was very nice to stay in Tourist hotel in Lucerne. the viewpoint of the hotel was so nice. You can enjoy the river views all time. The staffs were so helpful, providing lots of useful information. Too many sections in the hotel those not related to the hotel, could say it's only half-hotel. The breakfast was not the best. |

Great location just outside city center. Used this as a base city for train travel for other areas in Switzerland. The apartment was recently remodelled. |

The fascade of the hotel is misleading. We were pleasantly surprised by our room, which was modern, clean, confortable and well located. |

The room is big. Bathroom is great and newly rennovated It also have a good view of Reuss. Quite close to all those scenary spots of Luzern and easily to be located. The staff is quite nice and helpful The location is not as close as railway station as mentioned. If you have many luggages, you need around 20 min to walk from Luzern Central railway station. Suggest don't go in Summer as there's no air conditioner and there are many mosquitos/small when you open the window. If you go in Winter/Autumn, it's ok and no problem. |

Stayed in the Garden Studio Apartment, which was seperate to the hostel. Full kitchen, large bedroom and ample, clean bathroom. Good value for money for what it was. Still able to use the hostel's internet and laundry facilities. Breakfast included and was very good. Only one computer available and located right near the kitchen. Okay if you had your own laptop, but we didn't. |
