Tourist Hotel  

I liked the friendliness of the staff. We arrived late and they gave very clear instruction about where they were leaving the key for us to find. I really liked the minimal style of the rooms and the bed was amazingly comfortable (very deep satisfying sleep) . Worth noting that the shower had really good pressure too.

I thought that given the simplicity of the hotel and it's functional disposition (reception isnt staffed through the afternoon or past a certain hour at night), it was a bit expensive. But perhaps that is Switzerland.

Location... It's next to the river and close to the tourist spots. And they had a family room.

Our room was apparently one of older rooms, and it was very old and out dated (but clean). All the other rooms on the floor had a shared bathroom...

I really like the location and the staff were extremely helpful and understanding.

Location and of course the view from our hotel. Breakfast was good.Rooms are spacious and clean.

A bit costly with respect to the services offered.Wifi didnt work in the room and the staff had no clue how to fix the problem.

A terrific value in Lucerne. Some rooms offer amazing views of the river and the mountains beyond.

Excellent location. Walking distance to old section of Luzern. Quiet. good breakfast.

Newly remodeled dorm-like facility with designer bathroom, comfortable beds, desk, and window over the river. Very clean, very modern, very quiet. Ample breakfast in spacious dining room. Lift. Key to hotel after hours. Automatic opening entrance doors to make it easier to get in with baggage. Easy to find, close to train station, Chapel Bridge, shopping and the Lyon.

Should have signage indicating you must lock your room door from the inside with a key.

The location was perfect. The rooms are recently decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The river views were very beatiful and the attention of the staff was a ten.

The wifi didn't arrive to the 3rd floor.... And they didn't have any spanish tv channel...

Good value for money in a city that is quite expensive. Location was superb, perched on the river in the old town. Bathroom was great. Nice balcony with a view of the river and mountains - good spot for a glass of wine! Convenient to everything. Room was very nice and clearly was recently renovated.

It should be pointed out that as of January 2012 there were renovations taking place in daylight hours on one of the floors, which were noisy, however we were out of the room all day so rarely encountered it, and the staff were very apologetic and explained that they must do this in low season (fair enough!), so this did not bother us.
