Unique Hotel PostBahnhofstrasse 41, 3920 Zermatt (Show map) Wonderful, Score from 476 reviews“The Hotel is very nice, and the Hotel staff were by far the best I've encountered. Very helpful and very friendly. I was surprised at Breakfast when I was given a glass of champagne for my birthday. I didn't recall providing them with that information, but they made a note of it during check in. I will definitely stay there again when I am fortunate enough to return to Zermatt. Thank You Post Hotel Staff for enhancing my trip.”

Lovely location and nice rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. For a summer stay we needed to leave the windows open as there is no air conditioning, however, it was very noisy with people partying very late into the night ie. 3am.

I only stayed at this hotel for one night in Zermatt as a stopover on my way to Italy as had heard a lot about the place. The hotel was clean and comfortable, but as I had a single room, it did not have any views (apart from looking out over rooftops!! The weather was bad so I could not see much of the mountains and the famous Matterhorn. The resort was very expensive to stay in and probably even more so in the "ski season". I was glad to leave and get back to Euroland where my money seemed to go further.

Proximity to the town (which was also a bad thing because of the noise) and beautiful design. The rooms were really pretty and the beds very comfortable. Marcus, at reception, was very friendly and helpful. Our room, on the street side, was incredibly noisy at night and they couldn't move us. There are too many "bars" in the restaurant and too many people hanging outside late at night. The food at the restaurants isn't very good, especially the Brown Cow. Pretty disappointing.

I loved the decor and layout of the room. The bathroom, shower and toiletries were a spoiler. The breakfast was spectacular and the service at all levels was highly personalized, responsive and attentive. The location is unbeatable and the spa with the sauna, jacuzzi and steam room were a real treat after a day on the slopes. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Zermatt. I liked everything! I would suggest that they consider providing a drop and pick up for skiers to the ski lifts free of charge in their hotel car as a special perk.

Location There is nowhere private for guests The room was small It is not really a hotel...more like a hostel. The focus is only on its bar, restaurants and club which make it very unwelcoming You can here the nightclub music in the bedroom Because of the night club, there is dreadful noise outside which can be heard even with the window shut until 0200 every day...and on Friday and Saturday until 0430. The room is therefore too hot

Location + rooms Would never stay there again as the noise from the Live Music Bar could be heard in our room and did not stop until 3 A.M. Moved rooms the next night and had the noise of drinkers until 4 A.M.!

I had a great time in the Hotel Post in Zermatt. Everythings are alright. One thing I was disappointed is poor Wi-Fi wave in my room. I had to connect internet at the door all the time. But if you're staying there just for relaxing, it doesn't matter. I'd love to stay there again maybe in Summer next time.

The interior design was good. Choice of bars, restaurants. Good Wellness. Staff very friendly and helpful. Not their fault, but the noise from the street is incredible and goes on until 4am! The price for being in the centre of the Party Town! Security of the ski room is poor...door left unlocked and open to the street.

This place has it all...great location, excellent service, beautiful relaxing spa and a multitude of eateries onsite.. Our room was excellent with a view of The Matterhorn..we were extremely happy! The only thing I could remotely criticize is that the bathrobes provided for the spa use were worn and tired looking...we'll be back!

Judging by its looks, this is probably the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The design is a beautiful combination of wood and stone; modern, comfortable, yet old-fashioned and cozy. Pretty much anything is great around here, highly recommended hotel! One can only complain about details. Indeed, if the hotel was fully booked, the spa might be a little bit too small

The hotel was very modern by Euro standards, appeared to be built recently, and was impeccably clean. I liked the two floor studio look about it....it seemed decades advanced of the many hotels we saw in Europe. They had a restaurant which was to open the next day called Tex Mex Grille which featured horse meat fajitas. Being from Texas and knowing Tex Mex food pretty well, I can tell you that we not only don't eat our horses....we cherish them. I would never eat at a restaurant that served that kind of food. Tex Mex might serve beef, chicken, goat (carnitas), or cabrito (pork), but never horse. The last I saw, they had plenty of those kinds of animals to choose from in Switzerland and Europe.

A very cozy hotel with nice decoration and architecture, I really like the wooden style and design. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great with choices of warm dishes, cold dishes and wide range of cereals & bread. Basin was a bit too small, it's easy to get wet with the area around. Internet connection was not stable in my room.
