Villa Maria is a very nice place, which is very clean and quiet. Also there is a bus stop near Villa Maria, which is very convience to visit.

There is only one shower to share many rooms in Villa Maira. Also the room needs more plugs.

The staff was very nice. Rooms are clean.

a bit far from train station and shopping points. but there is a direct bus 6 and 8 can go to and from train station within 10 minutes

Location and staff

a very intereting landlady, very nice and experience on taking care of guests. old room but clean and comfortable. price is ok, a little bit higher than image,becauseit's in swiztland. free parking, very close to lake. backyard is under reconstruction. you will have a chance to have breakfast in yard in this summer.

The manager, Felix, very helpful. Breakfasts were excellent. Easy and quick bus ride to centre of town. Rooms well serviced and very clean. Comfortable beds.

Wish to be able to make cup of tea or coffee after long days out.

Hotel staves were very friendly and helpful. If you arrive at the Luzern train station, take number 6 or 8 bus. When you pass the Europe hotel, the next stop is near the Villa Maria. It is not near for children holding bags to walk from the train station to the hotel.

The location is great, just in front of the Luzern lake. 15mins walk to the main places of interest. The staff is very nice.

Villa Maria is a very nice budget hotel. The rooms were very clean and organized. The rest room were very clear as well. Most importantly, the staffs were very helpful, and actually you can easily find that they are very happy to help their guests.

Nice little hotel in the very lovely Lucerne, such a nice spot. Staff were very good and we enjoyed our stay. The swiss culture show/dinner was really good.

Is a bit of a walk into town, but we didnt mind too much - is good to get some exercise into the holiday!

It was reasonably priced and close to the city centre The rooms and bathroom were very clean. Good breakfast.

Rooms were old and cramped for 3people. Had no ensuite bathroom but we coped. Additional charges for paying by credit card.

Hotel was ok, although the website lists this hotel as walking distance from train station, it was a really far walk. It was the most expensive hotel of our trip and not really worth the money, the breakfast was simple. Nothing really memorable about our stay there

The situation near the town

Too high price for a room without bathroom and toilet.

Room was exceptionaly clean good shower good bed , the sofa was lovely to sit in and staff very helpful.

The bed pillow did suit my neck big European one but a good quality pillow needed the option of standard One

By far the best place we stayed in switzerland. All of our accomidation was within the same price range, and this was the best value for money. The atmosphear was so relaxing, the place was spotless and smelt fresh. The rooms were very comfortable with a lovely lounge to sit in and a lovely garden. The breakfast choice was very good with plenty of options (for switzerland) the staff were very helpfull and friendly. The location was excellent walking distance to all sightseeing in Luzern.

It was right on a main road, but the owner did offer us ear plugs as the place was fully booked.

Dogs stayed for free, decent price (considering all hotels are expensive in Luzern), complimentary fresh and light breakfast in the morning, room with a private bath/toilet (we paid extra for), very friendly and extremely helpful manager, location was perfect, and free parking.

The bathroom in our room had a bit of a musty/bad smell but it wasn't a big deal-just shut the door. There are only 3 parking spots so if you get one don't move or you'll probably lose it. ;-) Other than that it was wonderful!

Felix was very helpful, just like similar reviews. It seemed like he really wanted us to be comfortable and well taken care of, he suggested wonderful hikes and restaurants. The rooms were incredibly clean, beds were so comfortable, and the outside patio is really nice. Easy ride from train station (bus 6 or 8) and stops just outside of the hotel. Lake Lucerne is just a stone's throw away, although not visible from the hotel) but the hotel sits on the opposite side from mount Pilatus, and its just a beautiful location. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit and coffee on command from Felix.

Two bathrooms for 10 rooms was really kind of difficult to handle, and one shower for 10 rooms was rough, but the rest of the bed and breakfast totally made up for it.

Friendly welcome. Easy access to the city centre by a beautiful walk by the Lake. Parking not straightforward being across the road over a railway line, but not a problem. Bright clean room overlooking (almost) the Lake.
