closeness to the interlaken ost railway station that means good trains into the alps for skiiers and good train timetables that originate here for the trip over the Brunig pass going towards Lucern

breakfast was given to believe it would be a rich buffet but it was fairly typical of breakfasts offered by hotels on our trip of switzerland .. had to chg rooms as room above noisy with baby and cot construction ... elevator sometimes did not work properly but was fixed quickly ... front desk staff very understanding and helpful ... modern wrought iron beds with rather abrupt end post angles more than once had us scraping our shins when getting up to go to the WC in the night, they could use flourescent padding!! ... as location can command high prices at this world famous Alpine resort town, the price would be considered fair & decent value

Midway between shopping/eatery strip of Hoheweg and the train station of Interlaken Ost - easy to get up to Jungfrau and to other parts of Switzerland.

The service was prompt and friendly right from the start of booking till our check out. All emails were responded back the same day and we were welcomed with smile and great customer srevice during the day of check-in. The room provided to us was as promised (mountain view). and the hotel was very close to the railway station (3min walk). The town was 5-7min walk from the hotel. I would sum up my experience at Carlton Europe as "Fantastic & Excellent" and would like to thank the hotel team for the same.

Nice staff, good breakfast

Very small bathroom, without window or any kind of ventilation. No minibar. Window didn't insulate from external noise (road, train)

The hotel is just 5 minutes from the rail station OST. The hotel looks nice from outside and inside. The receptionists were so nice, helpful and friendly. The hotel is just several from the restaurants and cafes in the main road. It is less than 5 minutes from the cable car to the peak of mountain. The breakfast was nice and the atmosphere was nice. The room was classical and nice not really big but good for single occupancy with nice view from the window.

The bathroom was without door which won't suit friends but ok for couples and solo travelers.

Hotel staff was fantastic. They provided helpful hints and they really cared. The spa is great; truly impressive per European standards. Hotel location is very convenient for anyone travelling by train. Breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of foods.

The room size was decent but the furniture and bathroom facilities were quite old and deserved refurbishing. Did not really enjoy the smell of my room either although it looked clean.

Location close to the train station. Kindness of personnel. Parking available. Rich breakfast buffet well organized

The hotel is old and looks very tired. They were doing rennovations and it wasn't stated on the website when we booked. We were even stuck on the floor with the rennovations.

Das Hotel liegt sehr gut, Distanz vom Bahnhof und in die Stadt. Der Wellnessbereich hat mir sehr gut gefallen und so konnte ich Geschäft mit Erholung am Abend sehr gut verbinden. Die Atmosphäre und Einrichtung hat mir ebenfall sehr gut gefallen.

Der Kaffe war nicht ganz mein Geschmack, aber ansonsten war das Frühstücksbuffett sehr vielseitig und gut.

Staff très poli et sympathique sauna disponible

Salle petit déjeuner un peu sombre. Choix petit dej. Un peu limité, manque les fruits frais.
