Very clean and efficiently run hotel, in usual Swiss style. Bathroom was very small and old fashioned for a hotel which was classified as 4 stars. In my opinion it was definitely in need of some refurbishment. |

Location Value for money fo area Excellent bathroom hot shower Staff at reception excellent however when we contacted reception about heating problems (haad to lie in bed with clothes on) it took 30 minutes before someone rushed in with a tiny plug in electric radiator and she tried to turn on radiator and left after 30 mins rang again and was told it would be sortedAbout another 15 minutes a very arrogant tall man appeared with a technical help explaing that the air condition unit didnot work on hot and looked at the radiator knobs which took spanner etc to opn. Did not like his attitude to us as if we were the problem Coffee very poor for price as was not warm so got it topped up with hot water and was told the machine does not produce hot coffee! After that went put for breakfast |

Yes: one light of 4 worked in room; noisey (cars/train); room was tired, needs refurbishment; small, uncomfortable beds; no tea/coffee facility; breakfast served off site at hotel across the road - not value for money; if you plan to use the pool, don't forget your swimmers!; Spa staff very unhelpful and appeared annoyed when approached - had to interrupt personal phone calls to talk with receptionist!!!! |

Not a standard business hotel, but old charm. Good value for the money, as you can use the services of the main hotel accross the street. Good access to the walking path on the lake shore. |

Only that it was close to the event we were attending and cheap online to book.To have the terrace attched was good. Bizarre room, tv impossible to look at from bed, weird faux fireplace, drapes like made out of old bed sheets that have nothing to do with the decoration. A bathroom so small that siiting down you hit your knees and too small to even dry off in after showering. A disaster not worth more than 2 stars and also not worth the normal room rate ever...400chf for a nightmare!!! |

Clean - Not many facilities, but we were able to use those of associated hotels (although the Eden Hotel, which had the swimming pool was quite far away) - Close to lakeside promenade. The bed was against a wall, so the second person had no night table and had to climb over the other person to get out of bed at night. At check-out we were first charged more for our room than our confirmation from booking.com indicated. They said that we had changed our original reservation and upgraded our room, which was incorrect. After some discussion, they honored the price we were quoted by booking.com. The receptionist was friendly, professional and polite throughout the entire process. |

Room was of a decent size. The hotel and room felt a little spooky as there are areas that were not lit up at night. |

The hotel is very expensive. After checking out, I went to the parking garage. I put 50 Swiss Francs (about $50 US) into the machine and it didn't give me any change. The parking was supposed to be $28. I went to the front desk and they told me that I should have asked for a different parking pass. How should I have known that? Why didn't they give it to me when I checked out? They told me they couldn't refund my $22. |

The hotel itself is very basic, however it is part of the 5* Royal Plaza which is situtated over the road, as a guest at Villa Toscane you have full access to the facilities at the Royal Plaza. The rooms are in need of a refurb- they are clean and tidy but dated. they is no air con in the rooms so we had to have the window opens at night and the train track did keep us awake one of the nights. |

We are upgraded to a room in the main building of the hotel on the other side of the road. So my evaluation might be a bit biased toward "excellent" category of evaluation. However, we really enjoyed the stay. |

It is very convenient if you go to the Montreux Jazz festival It seems like if you check in late you get an upgrade to the Royal plaza. In my case, I checked in very early and did not get anything! |

The approximate location to Lake Geneva, very quiet, near the main road in Montreux and clean. The reception is in Royal Plaza Montreux hotel not in the same hotel, it would be nice if there is notice about that in advance. |

The building is old but very beautiful. Good atmosphere. Nice spa. Our stay should have been longer... A little drawback is the reception, located in the hotel across the street. No complaint about this however. |

Located directly on the lakeshore, the Golf Hotel René Capt offers you a wonderful view of the French Alps, Lake Geneva and the world-famous Castle of Chillon. |
The Tralala Hotel Montreux is located in the heart of the old town of the city called the „Pearl of the Swiss Riviera“, only 500 metres from the lake and the train station. |
Fairmont Le Montreux Palace, 'The Pearl of the Swiss Riviera', is located on the shores of Lake Geneva with magnificent views of the lake and the Alps. |
The charming family-run Splendid hotel in Montreux was built in 1904. It is situated in an ideal location offering superb views over Lake Geneva, close to the conference center and the train station. |
