It is very convenient if you go to the Montreux Jazz festival It seems like if you check in late you get an upgrade to the Royal plaza. In my case, I checked in very early and did not get anything! |

The approximate location to Lake Geneva, very quiet, near the main road in Montreux and clean. The reception is in Royal Plaza Montreux hotel not in the same hotel, it would be nice if there is notice about that in advance. |

The building is old but very beautiful. Good atmosphere. Nice spa. Our stay should have been longer... A little drawback is the reception, located in the hotel across the street. No complaint about this however. |

beautiful if slightly quaint art nouveau style suite.2 big bedrooms and lounge. Fantastic pool/sauna/bars etc at sister hotels, all of which were at our disposal. Slight mix up with bill, they tried to charge b and b rate when we had room only. Easily and graciously rectified. |

The entry of Villa toscane was closed, there was no info on booking.com that the Villa was depending on another hotel on the other side of the street, where the reception was. |

We had to check in across the street which was a little inconvenient and the service was fair there but the receptionist at our actual hotel was excellent and very helpful and friendly. We were not informed by the staff at the Royal Plaza about our free bus pass - the receptionist at the Villa Toscana personally walked us over there to help us get one. She was wonderful. See above; it would have been nice if coffee and croissant would have been included - breakfast at Royal Plaza was very expensive. |

The location was great. We ate the Italian restaurant and had very slow service. Once we were finished and they cleared the table it was over 20 minutes before we could get anyone's attention to deliver the bill |

The quietness indoors. The plates of apples at the entrance. The internet connecton. The free safe. Bedroom furniture a bit short of space for hanging clothes and for shoes. bathroom very cramped indeed. |
