Nice location at a very nice price.

-the stuff was very friendly -great location in the middle of zurich -the room and bathroom were also clean

Not a hotel a crap box over chinese take away Pretending to be more then the basic box it is. Run by a turk who does not care.

Location

No parking. Parking ended up horribly expensive at the nearby structure just over night. Breakfast was limited.

Great location: city center. It's a simple place but ok for those who want to see the city. The bedroom was nice and clean (althought not the most beautifull). The staff was nice.

The breakfast is not the most complete, and it's served in the restaurant, but also not so bad...

Room was too small and dark, breakfast was outside the hotel in a thai restaurant in the same building, that was inconvenient...

This was our second stay. Friendly staff. Great location. Our room was newly renovated.

LOCATION: In the old town a few minutes on foot from the Munster. Near the tour boat dock, only a few minutes on foot. Within walking distance, even towing large suitcases, of a suburban rail depot with frequent rapid transit to the central station and trains to remote exurban parts of the Canton. I used this to reach the village from which one of my ancestors left 273 years ago. Friendly Staff: Their English was usually better than our German, and when it wasn't, they worked at understanding our clumsy German. Every problem was quickly solved. Structure and staff match the location in old town.

We enjoyed our stay and have no personal complaints, BUT we have some words of warning for anyone expecting a luxury hotel.

The room, bedfings .. Very clean and comfortable.

the access and stairs- corridors are narrow & tight..- one is cramped for space.. The breakfast menu is very lean.. Understaffed..

I felt very safe as a female solo traveller. Staff were very friendly and hotel very clean with a lovely comfortable if small room and a lovely breakfast.

Lack of rooms with bath available and the heat on the third floor. No A.C. but wouldnt expect that in a hotel of that size.

This hotel is a strange cross between a university dorm, a luxury hotel in the third world, and Zurich. The shower for my room was 3 floors higher, but there was no contention for it at least at 7am. You heard people slamming doors all night. The furniture (& particularly the bed) were excellent. The staff were surreal, certain they were helping you in every way that actually mattered, incredulous that you should care about the things that didn't really. For example, I had a phone call, the person working the desk carried a portable phone up to the room for me & told me to be as long as I like, but that I should have answered my room phone. I told him it didn't ring and made only a vague buzz when you picked it up, he pointed at a switching system from the 1950s and said "you can't expect this to be flawless". But the portable phone did indeed work, but why was *I* to blame for the 1950s switching system? It was actually kind of a cool thing, but the attitude was odd.

Similarly, the breakfast had two loaves of bread which were fresh every other day, and perfectly boiled, hand painted eggs that were fresh at the beginning of the week, and little else. Oh, whatever coffee or tea you wanted. So by Portugal standards this is again fairly luxury (and presumably Thai, which is the type restaurant you are eating in), but it's odd for > 100euro a night, except if you're in Zurich where anything < 300 euro a night is a hostel, in which case it's a nice snack before you go out and face the real world.

- nothing, because: the appartment was noisy you hear the street noise from the appartment like you sleep in the street.. - the resturant in the street under the appartment the voice of the resurant guest very load so you can't sleep early specially in week ends. - the hotel not onest of their offer like the internet very bad can't connect from the rooms, - the rate not worth it it shold be not more than 50 franks

Location

Extremely bad and impolite service. After arrival discovered that my already paid reservation was cancelled through mis-management of booking. Got offered a room without shower at the usual rate. Was immediately charged for that on top of my previous booking so my visa bill showed to bookings without even entering the hotel. They refused me to put me in contact with the hotel manager who bluntly said he did not have time nor interest for me (at least that was their version). This hotel is not worthy to be included in an excellent service as booking.com . The hotel is just interested in making easy money in the most rude and fast way possible and abusing their excellent location for this. Absolutely my worst experience so far. Just avoid when possible.

the hotel is located in the centre of every attraction in Zurich, especially lake zurich and only walking distance to the luxurius shopping area.

for traveler with car it is expensive to park the car and the street in front of the hotel is to narrow for medium car.

Hotel staff did not want to honor my reservation, I had to threaten to call the cops for the to give me a room

Had 2 rooms, one should not have had a double bed as more appropriate as a single given the size. The other was fine. What cannot be excused is mould in the shower, and not just a little. Overall a little disappointing, but great location and with minor adjustments could be much better

The hotel was ok, top lactation for sightseeing and the lowest price it this area. Free wifi :))

Practically nothing.

What I did not really like was that when I arrived the receptionist way quite arrogant with me. He was upset as I arrived slightly after 10:00 pm (in the confirmation I received from booking.com midnight was indicated for latest check-in.) He asked for my credit card and innitiated the payment transaction immediately - this way I paid in advance. Then he refused to give me the invoice/receipt saying that he had no time for it as he had to leave. He recommended to ask it in the morning from his colleague.... :-) Then in the morning I could managed to get the invoice/receipt, but it was prepared with a wrong value on it. They corrected it when I asked for it. So I was not very much satisfied the treatment in overall.

The suite we lived in was comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was furnished and very functional. The morning breakfast ( inclusive in the deal) was not lavish but had a reasonable standard The staff in the hotel that we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. The location is the prime advantage of this hotel. Very convenient location, close to the lake and attractions around it at the city centre, close to the restaurants and shopping and very close to the railway station.

The complimentary breakfast could start at 6.30 am instead of 7.30 am to help tourists booked for excursions starting early.We missed breakfast the first morning due to that reason There was no telephone access in the room and no intercom access in the building where we were put up and had to come over to the main building for that access.
