Hotel Waldhaus am See  

Excellent location at head of Lake with superb views from rooms and restaurant. Mini bus transport to and from train station although it was also within easy walking distance. Spa and sauna facilities looked good although did not have time to use them. Being Scottish, my husband really appreciated the largest whisky collection in the world in the bar! Just check the prices for each brand though..some are so rare you would need a mortgage to pay!

No issues with the hotel but St.Moritz was like a ghost town at this time of year. Lovely surroundings but no atmosphere. Admittedly we arrived early evening and left at 10am in the morning for next part of our journey.

Have nice lake view in front of e hotel. Near to train station. Abt 10 mins walk.

Great location next to lake, easy going staff and breakfast flexibility. Free On site parking was a welcome change and the restaurant is excellent. Good value mini bar if you're caught short. Pedestrian access to town is great

Some facilities lacking in the room ( eg kettle, tea coffee etc). Two single beds pushed together, not a double. Location of the whiskey bar next to the lift & restaurant meant the whole place frequently smelt of cigars and cigarettes

The localization near the lake.

The hotel does not smells good. The single room is quite small.I Don t think it is necessary that the hotel chooses where do I have to seat to have breakfast, there were lots of tables near the window with the lake view that were free, but I couldn t use. Wireless did not work.

Location was amazing. The view from the hotel was incredible, lake, mountains all around! Food was also fantastic in the restuarant (a little expensive, but very good)

The location. The lady who attended to us at breakfast was exceptionally helpful and had a lovely personality.

Our tv never worked and when we reported it we were told to look at the cable. No one came to fix it and no interest was shown in helping us to fix it. On booking in, we were not even given a map of the town or shown any brochures. In our room, all the information about the hotel was in German so we did not even know what time was breakfast. Surely this information could be in several of the common languages, particularly as the hotel was aware that we were from Australia. Even the Italian restaurant nearby had their menu in quite a few languages.

Sensationelle Lage mit wunderschönem Blick auf den St.Moritzer See. Whiskybar mit über 2500 verschiedenen Sorten lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sehr feines Essen und aufmerksames Servicepersonal.

Die Ausssicht auf die Berge und dem See. Direkter Zugang zum See um spazieren zu gehen.

Fumoir und Bar

L'hotel è vicinissimo alla stazione ferroviaria di st.moritz e il paesaggio è fantastico. Al ritorno ci hanno accompagnato con il pulmino in stazione. Appena arrivati in stanza abbiamo trovato frutta fresca come benvenuto.

Per il 1 gennaio la reception apriva alle 7,30...per chi deve partire presto è un problema. La stanza non era da 4 stelle, il bagno molto piccolo.
