Family run since 1914, the Hotel Waldhaus & Huldi enjoys a quiet location on a south-facing slope, 3 minutes' walk from the centre of Adelboden and the Silleren cable car. The large rooms all have spacious bathroom and offer panoramic views. A wellness area featuring a sauna and a steam bath and the cosy lounge with a fireplace offer relaxation after a day out in the mountains. An excellent family run hotel - excellent 5 course dinner reasonably priced. Staff go out of their way to be helpful. Lovely location and lovely rooms. This was our second visit and I hope to go again.

Hostess made us feel very welcome; great breakfast is included with room, plus very reasonable 5-course gourmet dinners that we had every night. Hotel offers great discount for area lifts and trams as well. The mountain surroundings and view from room and balcony are incredible. Adelboden is paradise but please don't tell anybody. I will be coming back next winter to ski.

Very helpful staff and lovely views from the balcony. We were advised that we could use the large swimming pool at the next door hotel. Would love to go back there sometime. Parking - they let us park on the slope down to the hotel which meant reversing in the morning uphill on a bend,

Äußerst freundliches Personal, familiär. Einzelzimmer mit großem Bett, fantastische Aussicht auf die Schweizer Berge (direkt vom Bett aus). Skilift Silleren 100 m vom Hotel entfernt. Jederzeit wieder! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Die Lage zum Dorf und zur Sillerenbahn. Das Frühstücksbuffet war zwar grosszügig aber etwas 'langweilig' und lieblos hergerichtet. Im ganzen Haus besteht eine gute W-Lan Verbindung. Ich hatte etwas anderes erwartet bei den Preisen und die Gastfreundschaft liess zu wünschen übrig. Aufgrund der Hochsaison schien das Personal und die Besitzer überfordert, insbesondere bei Fragen ausserhalb ihres Schemas. Ich mag es zudem nicht, wenn etwas im Internet steht, das dann nicht zur Verfügung steht, wie Z.B. beim Parkplatz. Das war mitunter ein Kriterium bei der Auswahl und man wollte mich auf meine eigenen Kosten ins Parkhaus abschieben. Ich würde vorher telefonisch sicherstellen, dass ihr einen Parkplatz habt. Für Personen, die schlecht zu Fuss sind, ist das Hotel mit der sehr steilen Zufahrt bei Schnee nur sehr mühsam zugänglich.

Le confort de la chambre, le petit déjeuner, le repas du soir, la gentillesse du personnel. Je suis arrivé vers 10h et j'ai eu la chambre tout de suite.

piscine et Internet disponible, et gratuit, est très bien. aussi petit déjeuner très varié, et copieux douche dans le beignoir. Pas de controle sur le temperatue qui était un peu juste

Zimmer und Aussicht sehr gut, Zuverlässigkeit des Personals sehr gut. Hotellobby, Aufenthaltsraum, Frühstück ist leider alles etwas 'verstaubt' im übertragenen Sinne. Man merkt, dass nichts gemacht wurde in den letzten 20-30 Jahren, im Gegensatz zu den Zimmern.

Die Lage des Hotels ist prima. Die Zimmer sind schoen eingerichtet aber man hoert alles vom anliegenden Zimmer, jedes Gespraech!
