The 3-star Hotel Walser is situated close to the tourist office in the village, 50 metres on the left side opposite the UBS bank. It has 20 furnished guest rooms with 35 beds situated on second to fourth floor. With the hotel elevator you can reach the reception on the first floor. There you will find the restaurant with its fine, international kitchen and the modern Lounge-bar.

The hotel has a sauna and solarium. The luggage transport and ski depot is located directly at the mountain railways and can be used free of charge.

Food & beverage

The friendly furnished restaurant offers a rich and varied breakfast buffet which is included in the room price and served from 08:00 to 11:00. For art lovers it offers a unique picture gallery. The modern Lounge-bar with fire-place is directly beside the restaurant. With its comfortable couch corner it offers the opportunity to relax and recover. On the attached sun terrace you can enjoy a view into the mountain village.

The sunny Saas Valley - The Pearl of the Alps - is situated amidst the highest mountains in Switzerland. Guaranteed snow, a mild, southerly climate low in allergens, superb scenery and unspoilt villages are the hotel's trump cards and a guarantee for an unforgettable holiday. Saas Fee is a wonderful village with many restaurants and bars. Skiing is possible throughout the whole year.

Travel information

By car:
Visitors travelling by car from the north travel via Bern through the Lötschberg tunnel (car-train), from the east via the Furka pass (or car-train) and from the south via the Simplon pass. You reach the Saas Valley from the west of Switzerland via Lausanne and through the Rhone valley to Visp.

By train:
Visitors travelling by train travel to Brig or Visp and change to the post bus with the direct destination "Saas-Fee". There are hourly connections until 20:05 in the evening from Brig and 20:25 from Visp. Check your luggage in at your local station and collect it at the bus station at the Saas Valley post offices.

By air:
