Nothing only the location is good

The old building has great character and history. The view over the lake is lovely. Air-conditioning was great (and necessary!)

The traffic noise was constant and disruptive day and night. I had the airconditioner on, the window/door closed, and the exhaust fan on in the bathroom all night but still the traffic noise disturbed my sleep. Internet was extremely slow. Staff were polite rather than friendly.

Central location. Very nice staff. Nice view of the lake.

We were given a room with a lake view as requested. Just for guidance, the lake view rooms are on the main street, which can be noisy at times. I'd still take the view.

The location was brilliant - right by the lake but also in the old town. Also being next to the tourist information office was useful. If you cant book a balcony, then you can use the roof terrace which was also lovely.

Our room (46) did not have a shower - just a bath with a hose that we had to hand hold when we stood up as the wall fixture was just above the low taps. We knew the room would be noisy and it was (they thoughtfully gave us ear plugs) but we got used to it. It was expensive for what you got - not great value.

price was very high for the quality. there were parts of the room where the paint was worn away and one of the shutters would not close completely.

Location is great as it is situated right at the lake in the city center. Rooms are clean and staff is nice and friendly.

Rooms are dated and if you are travelling by car parking could be an issue.

I like the great staff in the hotel specialy the women in the reciption.when I had a problem in a restraunt in lugano she called the owner of the restraunt who was sorry about what happen many thanx for here

Bed, pillow and room which by the way requires urgent renovation&paint job. Bathroom was OK however the bath tub was so small as if it was built by a dwarf for midget guests!

The Swiss breakfast buffet was excellent, and served in a very cheerful, pleasant room with helpful, friendly staff. Lakeside view was outstanding from the two guest rooms we were in. Private rooftop sun chairs and jacuzzi were lovely.

A little noisy from the street with windows open. But quiet with windows closed.

Wonderful! Simply wonderful!! The hotel location was right in the center, close to boat station and to the main city sites. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was so rich!! There was also a jacuzzi service avaliable right on the roof... And there was a stunning view from the balcony to the lake! I decided, when I get back to Lugano, I will definetely stop in this hotel again!

there was nothing to complain about. I'm totally satisfied with the value for money.
