Weisses Kreuz  

Stayed in twin room in back with shared bath. Room was clean. Breakfast was pretty good with fruit, meat/cheese, bread, yogurt though not a lot of choices (white bread,sugar-fruit yogurt, tea selection picked over as if end of season) - setting was pleasant. Location is right by train and by sea. Close to tourist information. Parking is easy. Right by grocery store. Sink in room. Small chair and short end table in room.

Internet wifi did not work anywhere in hotel. Staff was unwilling to fix or acknowledge the problem experienced by several guests and no compensation was given for this. Rooms in back are extremely loud with steam train going behind, echoing noise in adjacent car park, grocery store loading early in AM and train stain across street. Hotel room walls are also thin and you can hear every flush/shower in joining bathroom. Very poor ventilation in room - small window. Room had attic-like angled ceiling. Beds were very short - hit end and I am 5 feet 6 inches. No swiss card. For back rooms if external door is locked there is no exit without a key (you can not get out) - potential safety hazard if fire, etc. Very large couch-like pillows. No soap in room. Room was hot and no way to cool it but open window with limited ventilation (increasing noise, light).

La situation géographie, très facile à trouver ainsi que le fait qu'on ait eu une chambre avec douche/WC inclus pour le prix d'une qui ne l'inclus pas (sans même le demander). De plus, on a pu laisser notre voiture sur le parking même après être parti de l'hotel.

Le fait que le personnel n'était pas bien organisé, le réceptionniste ne trouvait pas notre réservation et notre chambre n'était pas prête alors qu'on est arrivé 1h30 après l'heure à laquelle elle était censé être déjà disponible. De plus, il aurait été préférable qu'il comprenne au moins quelques mots d'anglais et/ou de français. Le déjeuner était moyen au niveau choix et qualité. On a vu un hotel qui n'était pas sur booking.com et qui était beaucoup mieux sans être beaucoup plus cher (chf 160 par nuit), il s'agit de Steinbok, hotel situé à 100m dont nous avons testé l'excellent restaurant et vu les chambres qui sont beaucoup plus propres, le tout dans un joli chalet. Le personnel de Steinbok était d'ailleurs très sympathique et professionnel.

Personnel aimable, chambre agréable, prix intéressant, bonne situation.

Gute Betten; genug Platz; schönes Brienz

Badezimmer im Novilon-Mief der 70er-Jahre, sehr schäbig. Frühstücksbuffet billig, vor allem billig präsentiert (Lebensmittel auf blossen, hässlichen Furnier-Tischen einfach hingestellt). Service- Mitarbeiter im Restaurant uninteressiert, uninformiert, ungelernt, wollen auch gar nicht wissen, was sie da servieren.

Die Lage war perfekt. Direkt am Bahnhof. Wir hatten Zimmer auf die Strassenseite, war aber kein Problem. Nacht's war es sehr ruhig. Die Frau an der Rezeption war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir suchten ein Festival. Was uns weniger gefiel: am morgen war ein Mann an der Rezeption. Er verlangte Fr. 20.- mehr, als auf unserer Reservation notiert war. Zum Glück hatten wir die Reservation dabei, und so zahlten wir nur die vereinbarten Fr. 180.-. Es irritierte uns, dass er gerade am Telefon die Zimmerpreise mit Fr. 180.- offerierte!!!!

Die Bedienung beim 2. Frühstück war sehr nett. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral. Gratisparkplatz war vorhanden.

Die Lage zwar sehr gut, dafür sehr laut (Bahnhof, Hauptstrasse, Gartenrestaurant). Das Zimmer wurde vergessen zu machen. Das Frühstück war immer in einem anderen Raum. Die Reception war nie besetzt. Als wir ankamen, waren wir gar nicht registiert. Die Antwort, aha mit booking.com reserviert. Das Mail habe sie gar noch nicht angeschaut vom Vortag. Schade, dass man keine Tipps erhalten hat, was unternommen werden könnte.

Bedienung und Küche

Sa situation idéale à côté de la gare - nous sommes arrivées et parties en train. Son bon rapport qualité-prix, même en haute saison. Notre chambre était déjà prête à midi. Excellent logement pour visiter Ballenberg - le bus part devant la porte.

Die gastfreundschaft das gute essen und die ideale lage

ロケーションが良く、部屋からの眺めも素晴らしかった。スタッフの対応もよく、夕食も手ごろな値段（スイス- にしては安いと感じた）で内容も良かった。地元のコーラス（ヨーデル）グループが練習している場所（ホテル- 内）へ案内していただき、練習態度に感激した。
