good location.

TV is really old fashion and small.

The location is convenient, just 5 minutes by walk from the Interlaken West station. Near the bus stop to Interlaken Ost station. Many shops nearby the hotel. The service is good.

Really enjoyed our stay, charming room, very clean and comfortable. We stayed for the Lauberhorn races- it was quite affordable and convenient to both rail stations. Cordial staff & very good breakfast. Would stay again!

No negatives for us

The staff are pleasant and efficent; cleanliness- the place is spotless; the rooms are spacious, with plenty of storage for clothes, including outdoor/ski wear; comfortable beds and cosy duvets.

I understand that renovations of all the rooms are underway - we had a clearly untouched room - the decor was looking a little tired but this will no doubt be remedied soon.

Location was about a 8 minute walk from Interlaken West station. If you are arriving by train from Geneva / Bern the trains make stops at Interlaken West before going to Interlaken Ost.. jsut get off at West and its about 8 minutes.. you will see Mcdonalds once u get out on yuour left (if you are facfing the street in front of you and station is behind you) walk towards mcdonalds and keep walkign straight.. you will see it right after a round about.. i foudn it myself without any help at midnight.. so trust me its an easy to find.. rooms were spacious..

Pillows were .. well didnt feel like a pillow.. u need atleast 3 to make up 1 proper pillow. We arrived at midnight the main door was locked so we rang a bell and reception let us in. THey were expecting us and checked us in. Once in room, there was some pubic hair all over the bed sheet.. literally all over.. my wife freaked (understandeably) i paid quiet a bit of money and expect the rooms be clean. The toilet had towel paper in it as if someone just used it.. and the sink and water tub had a bad draineage the water kept clogging. I went down to seek help but there was no reception and noone was there to be found. We spent the night with towels on beds and pillows and i went down first the morning. Receptionist said they had nothing else and that nothign was available that was better than the room i already had.. ok..? weired but ok..i requested a fix and they acknowledged. We came back at night - the beds were made with new sheets but surprisingly it still had same type of hair on the sheets. and the sink was still not fixed. I didnt bother with them after this and cleaned the bed as best as i could and sleep on blankets on the beds. It was just gross! Otehrwise great room and great location but for this reason i would never stay here again and will not recomend anyone to stay here. These people need a better system to clean their bed sheets. I had read the samething before in a review but thought it could a one of scenario.. but no.. this seems to be normal.

Front desk staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Fast, reliable, free WiFi in lobby and in nice old time decor "guest room" next to lobby. Microwave and kettle for use in this room. Location is awesome! Right in the center of shopping, restaurants with one side on pedestrian only street. Less than 7 minutes to Interlaken West station, easy to get to on foot with luggage. Rooms spotless and clean. A few English channels in room with more of course in German and French. Hotel sits above great pizzeria. Rooms basic but plenty of outlets which was nice along with soft comforters. Beds were fine. Bathroom was very nice size, full tub/shower.

Breakfast was one of the poorest we have found since moving to Switzerland over 1 1/2 years ago. We don't expect much but this had very, very little. With just a little more effort, some fresh fruit, croissants, colder, higher quality and better presented yogurt they could improve! Carpets in hallways worn bare in places, stained. Didn't really matter to us but does effect you first impression.

The room is big enough. The hotel is very near to the shopping area.

The hotel is not beautiful. No good view. If there is a first to go to Interlaken, I suggest you could live any small village near Interlaken. Any village is very beautiful except Interlaken city.

1. The location is not good. It's far from the Interlaken ost train station. 2. I booked a standard double room. When I got in the room, it seems that it's not the normal room in the orginal hotel building, but a room expanded from the orginal building. And there is a pilar in the middle of the room! 3. The bathroom is very small. 4. The hotel location is in a very noisy street, no peace.

Its location is ok, not that near to Interlaken Ost. But you can take No.21 Or 103 bus from Interlaken Ost, it is very near to the third stop. If by walking, it will cost around 15 minutes. There's an Italian Pizza resturant understairs and the pizza is delicious! The lady in black and short hair who serves at front desk is very nice and kind. I like her.

No air-conditioning and fridge. You can only use electric pot in the guest roon beside loby and can not borrow to your room to use. Breakfast not good.: No coffee machine, and all breads are cold. The price does not deserved.

The location of the hotel was very good. It was right in the centre of town. The people at the reception and in young Japanese lady who was serving at the breakfast hall were very helpful and always with a smile. Spread at breakfast was ok

Because of the location right in centre of town it was quite noisy. Could be because or maybe our rooms were road facing that could be the reason as well. We had two rooms and my parents room had only one window and that too facing the garbage.

At check-in staff voluntarily provided a city map and useful information. The hotel room was large and the large windows allowed fresh air. Staff provided a small fan when asked. Acceptable for budget traveling.

Footsteps were heard from the hallway and the room overhead. This was rather inconvenient at 0430 hr.

everything was perfect and very professional, please keep it the way it is.

The reception is very nice and very helpful. It makes us feel warm. The downstairs is restaurant, very nearby the supermarket. The hotel is close to Interlakwn west, around 7 minutes. It is convenience. One more thing is that the hotel will give the free transportation card for visitors, it is very useful when we visited in Interlaken.

Just a little bit complaint that our room needed to take lift and went downstairs since we had 3 big luggages with us. It is unconvinced that if the visitors have too much luggages. It is advised that the vistors can inform the hotel in advance booking the room.

There were not any services or facilities.

The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Compared to some other European hotels we stayed in the room was spacious however the bathroom was quite small. The location of the hotel on next to a pedestrian area was good and the location which was relatively midway between the two train stations was convenient.The hotel had a very effective, free Wi-fi connection but it was not available in the rooms. Wi-fi could only be accessed in the reception area but a comfortable sitting room made that quite functional. Hotel provides a "pass" for free use of the local bus system which was a good value.

Special request for soy milk in the breakfast area was not met. There was a tour group in the lobby when we arrived - which was initially a concern - however the front desk staff dealt with that effectively and did not delay our check-in process as a result.

The location of hotel is very good. It is on road joining interlaken west and interlaken ost station, closer to interlaken west station. Room was very good and nicely prepared. Even a radio was provided for music. Longue was available with internet and microwave with good seating arrangement. The person at reception was very coperative and helpful. Breakfast was good.

The hotel counter person is great, this young guy gave us a funicular railway flier and coupon - Harder Kulm, we took the ride as he suggested, it was great, only chf12 / person, but much better than spent over chf 100 to go up to the high mountain. Because we can see the entire Interlaken in a good distance and enjoy the fine food and drink at the beautiful restaurant. The room size is good compare with lot hotel in Switzerland.

Few things I dislike: 1. Wi-Fi is not in the room, we have to go to the lobby to play. 2. Little too old of this building, need renovation.

The best thing was the location. Its about 5 min. walk from train station.

They done offer basic needs in room like a tea maker. It was a pain as you need to come down to guest room even for a tea at night. Rooms were a bit smaller than what it looks on the internet. Its a old hotel with old fixtures.

It was nice and reachable to the city.

The price was quite expensive.

Carrying the luggages half the floor up was difficult. Specially if you are a senior citizen.

The staff were really friendly and they gave us a free room upgrade. The place was very clean and well located. I really enjoyed the stay there.
