Large room Very clean. Close to train station.

We decided to stay in Tasch because Zermatt was too expensive for us and Welcome Hotel Tasch was a good choice. It's very close to Tasch railway station so no difficulty carrying luggage to the hotel. There is an affordable shuttle bus that runs from Tasch to Zermatt every 20 minutes for most of the day so getting to Zermatt was easy. We usually went there after breakfast, did our hiking, had some food and a shop and got back to the hotel late in the evening. And it was all very easy. The rooms were very clean and pretty big. We had heaps of room. There is a kitchen in the room but none of the appliances worked and it wasn't not stocked but we knew that when we booked and were reminded again when we checked in. It's a shame really because each room has a balcony facing the mountains so it would be really nice to sit there with a cup of tea (no kettle either). But there was a fridge. Breakfast was good and set us up for the day. It's a new place and has daily housecleaning. I would be happy to recommend it to anyone wanting to stay as close to Zermatt as possible without being there. Would stay again.

It would have been nice if the kitchen was working or, at the very least, a kettle with some mugs and teaspoons for tea/coffee.

Great location and easy to find as you drive into Tasch, and a short walk to town and the train station. The staff were very helpful and gave us suggestions for our travel to nearby Zermatt. When my son left his camera in the hotel they put it in a taxi for us and delivered it to us in Zermatt, which we appreciated very much.

The room was very large and the furniture new and modern. Well equipped. Good views, parking included, free Internet connection, good breakfast, close to Täsch Terminal Station and extremely kind and helpful personnel.

A wonderful room with a wonderful view! We had a nice terrace with a view to the mountains.The room was large and clean.Breakfast was nice and the staff was friendly.We really recomend the hotel to those who want to travel to that wonderful place.

It's a modern hotel with modern appliances. Our room was really spacy (!), it also had a kitchenette in it, but we didn't use it. There was also a spacy balcony with some chairs on it. Free and easy parking for hotel guests ! Täsch train station is about 10 minutes' walk. Overall - good price per value.

The balcony is shared with everyone staying on that floor of that side of the building. You cannot close curtains fully, therefore everyone, who decides to take a walk around this common balcony, can take a look in your room through the window where you sleep in the bed. Although the breakfast room looks huge, modern and very promising (you feel like in a good restaurant), the breakfast was only a very limited cold buffet (bread, butter, jams, cereals, 2 types of cheese slices, 4 types of meat slices and that's about it). The only hot thing you can get for breakfast is tea/coffee. If you are visiting Wallis or Zermatt for the first time and wish to get some local aura of the place where you are staying, then this hotel won't be the best choice as the interior has no local decoration elements in it at all - from the inside you may think that you are in Helsinki, Berlin, Oslo or wherever, nothing speaks about this beautiful region of southern Switzerland... it is just a plain hotel, but a modern and very clean one!

The rooms were spacious with a nice vie of the mountains. The hotel was close to the Tasch-Zermatt shuttle. Breakfast was basic but adequate.

We arrived at 14h10 and were told that check-in was after 14h30 and our rooms were not ready by a disgruntled staff member. The next afternoon after trekking in the mountains we came back to our room to have a shower only to find the toiletries not replenished. When I approached the staff at reception to ask for some toiletries I was told that we were given a "welcome pack" of 1 small soap and 2 sachets of shampoo and that is all we were entitled to. How are 2 people staying more than one night expected to shower with these inadequate supplies. Just about every other hotel replenishes the toiletries daily. Others had commented about the lack of crockery, cutlery etc in the kitchenette. We turned on the hotplates and found they were not working so even with your own cookware the kitchenette was useless!!!

Good hotel for the price. Clean spacious room. Staff very helpful. Convenient for visiting Zermatt without Zermatt prices. Free parking.

Limited breakfast - no hot choices. Not good coffee. Balconies are shared so no privacy.

Great location, 5 minutes walking from train terminal going to Zermatt. Tasch is very nice and quiet and a better choice than Zermatt in terms of retreat and budget. Impecable clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Hotel includes as well a free parking place, which I find it a great advantage.

Breakfast is very limited, but this is normal for this category of hotel. Beds not comfortable, separate beds only which is a bit annyoing for a couple. Pillows almost invisible:).

We stayed in 3 hotel during our trip to Switzerland, and this hotel was the best. Spacious with balcony, where we got great view of kleine matthorn. The staff were really nice and helpful! We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends!

Much less expensive then equivalent accommodation in Zermatt and it is only 12 mins by train from that resort. The helpful staff offered a much reduced ticket for the cable car to the Little Matterhorn. The breakfast was good and the location is only 400 m from the train station. The room was large with limited furniture but the beds were very comfortable.

Large modern room, with a kitchen. Good views to the mountains. Good location, close to the rail station to Zermatt.

Although there was a kitchen, there were no crockery or utensils. We could not even boil water for a coffee. Breakfast was rudimentary.

- The room offered a nice view in the direction of the Small Matterhorn. As the balcony did not have divisions, all rooms on the same floor leading to the same long balcony, there was no privacy. We did not sit on the balcony because of that. - lacking toiletteries: there was only one little hotel soap for the first day, and when asked we were explained that that is normal for this category of hotel and one could not give soap every day; of course we did obtain one extra (we did not pack showergel so we really needed...) it was amazing to us; - no water cooker in the room so no possibility to make tea or coffee even though the rooms have a kitchenette (that is not for use, at least not in Summer).

Rooma spacious with refrigerator and table and chairs and large deck with chairs and view to die for. Breakfast very nice. Staff very friendly. Parking easy. Short walk to train station. All in all far exceeded our expectations and we would love to stay there again.

There was nothing to dislike. Even the elevator was modern and fine.

Relativ große Zimmer. Das Hotel liegt nicht weit von der Bahnstation entfernt und die Mitarbeiter sind außergewöhnlich freundlich.

Die Nähe zum Bahnhof Täsch und die ruhige Lage. Der Preis ist zum Vergleich mit Hotels in Zermatt verhältnismässig günstig.
