Het chique hotel Wellenberg ligt in het hart van het historische centrum van Zürich, op slechts 5 minuten lopen van de beroemde winkelstraat Bahnhofstrasse. Het beschikt over een uitstekend restaurant en een mooi terras. De comfortabele kamers zijn goed ingericht en beschikken over een flatscreen-tv, koffie- en theefaciliteiten, een minibar, een kluisje en WiFi. Het nieuwe restaurant Louis serveert een gevarieerd internationaal menu en beschikt over een uitgebreide wijnkaart. Internet douche Erg warm en erg veel lawaai 's nachts en vioral 's ochtends vroeg van voorbijgangers en leveranciers aan restaurants etc aan het plein waar het hotel gelegen is. Geen airco en erg warm in de kamers, daardoor moest het raam wel open.

Uitstekende bedden en ruime schone kamers Entree en lobby. Er is alleen een receptiebalie, geen gezellige lounche waar je even rustig wat kan drinken.

The room we stayed in, if ranked, would qualify for the one being slightly above 2 star hotel type. Furniture in the room was in the very poor condition, of very low quality and totally out of date. The hotel does not have Word installed on a computer available for quests in the Business Centre. The hotel claiming to be ranked as a 4 star hotel and located in Zurich absolutely must have such things in place.

The possibility to have your own tea in the room. The welcoming staff is very polite and nice. It does not have a main hall (even for a 4stars), The room was very small and very noisy outside to sleep with an open window

It was a nice stay. However, the front desk should be a bit more careful remembering people's face and name and be more service oriented. All in all it is recommendable. The breakfast area cozy and nice, however, it could have had more variety of bread and sweet breads. The service at the breakfast area was exceptionally excellent. The rooms are extremely tasty, comfortable and nice...I loved the hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful in giving directions, restaurant recommendations, etc. The location is on a plaza with side streets/alleys that allow no cars, so strolling is peaceful. Rooms are plenty big, by European standards, and have many welcome amenities. The breakfast (included in the room price) is fit for royalty! Yum! The location is an easy 10 minute walk to the Hauptbanhof (train station) so very convenient. Although it is fun to be able to watch all the goings on at the plaza and alleys, if your room overlooks them, it is quite noisy throughout the evening and night there. There are numerous restaurants and bars nearby, so revelers, enjoying their evenings out especially on the weekend, are really loud. However, if you are there mid-week, it's fine. They have rooms looking out over a patio at the back of the building which are much more quiet.

Too expensive for price versus quality. not a good experirnce for me and for my 3 other staff travelling with me. I will not stay there for next time. for around 300 CHF I can find much more plesanthotels in Zurich with, a least, a certain nice view at the City.

Friendly and helpful staff, proximity to the train station and Zurich City Centre. The bar on 1st Floor was loud and kept me awake at night.

The Wellenberg has a great location and welcoming and competent staff. The beds were comfortable and the shower/toilet was good quality. Breakfast was also good. Everything was as advertised. Super location.

Friendly staff especially at reception, very good location AR the center of Zurich. Old armchairs upholstery with holes, housemaid did not change used towel which was on bath floor but put it to the heater. Off course we have not droped all towels to the floor we have used it more then one time. We asked to change only one... ;) Breakfast without hot dishes. But all this things have not change good attitude to hotel!

the big bed, the cleanness and the location there was some smell in the stairs; the door has to be locked with the key - i didn't pay attention and left the door unlocked; no possibility for refund - total or partial - upon annulation of reservation; more like a good 3 star hotel

Single room spacious and clean, soundproof, nice location in the old town, close to restaurant and walking facilities, 3 stops from central station Reception and general appearance of entrance is poor and small, no sharing spaces. Breakfast was below expectations and minimal for a 4*
