The Wellness & Spa Hotel Beatus in Merlingen is located right in a large park on the shore of Lake Thun. It offers a salt-water outdoor pool, an indoor pool, fine cuisine and free parking. All rooms have a balcony and most offer panoramic views of Lake Thun and the mountains. Light Swiss and international cuisine including fish specialties is served in the restaurant. Personal was friendly. Nice wellness with saltwater outdoor heated swimmingpool overlooking the Thun lake. Very good location for the trips to the mountains, lake cruises, castles in the surrounding and also for visiting Bern (30 minutes by car). Terrace in the restaurant/bar with the beautifull view to the lake. Good selection of fresch juices by the breakfast. Fruit and water were in the room every day free of charge available. Good selection of coctails in the bar. Bus and ship stop streight by the hotel. Free internet connection in the room. Poor selection of main courses in the a la carte restaurant. Lack of parking places. Higher prices than we expected.

The lake has lounge chairs to sit in, the pool and the bubblers so great. This hotel even has a tiny wave push pool.l,the room had a great window area and came with a basket of fruit, nice touch.. The location was very nice. Would stay here agian. The staff was snobby, however we only spoke english so I get it, the breakfast staff was way not happy. This is not a reason not to go here. Now the nudity in some parts did freak me out when I walked in and saw a naked man. The swiss steam in the nude,this hotel even has a naked sun area so if you are shy stay out of those areas. Still not a reason not to go here, think of the stories you can tell your friends. Breakfast

Der Wellnessbereich ist umfangreich, insbesondere die vielen Saunas und Dampfbäder haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage direkt am See und die Sicht in die Berge ist einmalig schön. Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Badezimmer war viel zu klein und entsprach nicht dem Standard eines 5-Stern-Hotels.

De ligging aan de Thuner See. Erg kostbaar,maar wel heel goed in alles wat er geboden wordt. De gasten zijn miserabel gekleed, niks modieus of hip.De gemiddelde leeftijd is achter in de zeventig.Het is echt een hotel dat als verlenging van het bejaardenhuis oogt.

При оформлении заезда и выезда персонал ресепшн ведёт себя неадекватно, затягивает время. В целом, отель великолепен. И на этом фоне особенна заметна некорректность и слабый уровень тех, кто оформляет гостей.

La situation de l'hôtel au bord du lac, en face du Niesen, est idyllique. Les jardins ainsi que l'hôtel sont très bien fleuris. Le spa est très agréable. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les différentes possibilités de repos: plusieurs terrasses, lits d'eau, chaises-longues dans le parc, etc. Nous avons aussi très bien mangé.

die Wellnessanlage, nette Bedienung Das Zimmer war sehr gut eingerichtet wobei als gebuchtes Doppelzimmer, zwei Betten die sich immer wieder getrennt haben, nicht das Optimale war. Vielleicht irgendwie als Doppelzimmer die zwei Betten fixieren? Badzimmer: der Zugang zur Badwanne / Dusche war sehr umständlich. Rest: perfekt
