Excellent location in the old part of the city. Close to train station. great staff and good breakfast.

No lift because it is a heritage building. Didn't bother us but should be kept in mind for others.

Hotel dates from 1493, is in the Old Town, has amazing old restaurant with unusual local food. Is comfortable with very helpful staff. Good stopping point before doing Bernina Express train trip.

We wanted to stay in the Altstadt of Chur and this was about the only choice that still had a room available at a reasonable price for us. Appears the staff wears more than one hat with the restaurant and bar below as they were very busy but did take the time to make sure we were settled in our room

Parking not very close and at a cost, noisey until about 11pm.

The on-site restaurant is awesome. I really enjoyed our dinner there.

A very cozy hotel in the old center of Chur and very close to Chur Stadt station. The restaurant is very good serving local specialities! The price level is compared to swiss standard very acceptable.

Everything was in order!

Free wifi great location has history some beautiful architecture with stone stairs and wooden windows.Great atmosphere and superb friendly barman but smoke filled.

On second floor and smoke from attached ground floor bar permeated rooms and corridors all night,had to keep window open.Avoid if sensitive to cigarette smoke.

It was not too far from the station and in the centre of the old part of town

Bed I slept in creaked and kept me awake all night. Lots of stairs to go up to get to the bedrooms although we did know this when we booked.

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff was so friendly, the room was nice and big. Central in Chur Beautiful!

When you walk down the stairs or when you enter the hotel, the smoke smell from the bar put us off and that was the only thing we found VERY unpleasant because we are not smokers.

We had a Fantastic meal in the restaurant, highly recommended and good value if you prebook on booking.com. Delightful dining room and bar areas. Our room had views to the snowy mountains.

The heavy cigarette smoke from the bar eventually wafts its way up the staircase to the bedrooms.

The pervading stench of cigarette smoke spoilt an otherwise nice hotel. We found prices for accommodation in Switzerland very high in general.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The waitstaff at the Restaurant was excellent. The rooms were comfortable and an excellent value. The dining rooms were absolutely charming!

about a 7 min walk from station, located down a alley, easily missed if a local didnt help me find it... didnt use the 5 percent discount for evening meal...so cant quote on quality of food.. Didnt hear any external noise.

Bed not that comfortable in single room, tv small. Cant remember on quality of continental breakfast..!!

Bit of a bugger to find, but once you do, it's a lovely little hotel nestled in a small courtyard. I found it very peaceful.

This hotel is about 10 mins walk from Chur railway station and just inside the old town. The hotel staff are very friendly.

The staffs were extremely helpful and courteous. The room was pleasantly furnished. Breakfast was wonderful. If you want a lift or parking outside, look elsewhere and leave this wonderful hotel to those that appreciate the good things in life and do not want every hotel to be a clone of the next one. The room was Smokey when I entered; this is because more people in Switzerland smoke than other countries, I just flung the windows open for an hour whilst I went for a wander, problem solved. Friends caught the cable car for a wonderful walk on the mountain; I caught the train to Arosa, what a journey!! I shall certainly be staying here the next time I stay in Chur

Location in the old town. Old building with lots of character. Clean and basic. Had an expression machine on our floor which was available free of charge.

We were on the 3rd floor without an elevator. Breakfast was supposed to be available at 7:00am and wasn't ready until 8:00am.

Perfect location in the city centre, great atmosphere, underground parking nearby
