Best Western Hotel Zürcherhof

The lady in the reception was really very fast and efficient in service The staff is kind and nice. The rooms are too small according to chain hotel standards. Again it is to expensive for the quality they serve, but I think this is all Swiss hotels problem.

Rooms are very small and hotel beds are narrow accordingly. We stayed in a double room but even 2 persons cannot walk in the room at the same time.

Gonvenient for our purpose, very expensive but it was in Zurich , so it was to be expected, fairly basic

No air Conditioning

Hotel was located near the restaurant-street and we could find nice beer halls quite easily.

It was nice and local to the train station and the city centre

It was a bit noisey in the morning but it was expected staying right in the centre

Breakfast buffet was very good, the staff very friendly, helpful and pleasant.

There was no bar of soap in the bathrooms, for the high cost of the rooms, at least one bar soap in each room should have been provided.

Each of Reception staff is very friendly and polite, I felt comfortable.

Near the main train station ZURICH HBF

We checked in at 15.00 but the room given was not cleaned and made up after the last guest had vacated.We had to wait another 30 mins to get the room cleaned up.Secondly rooms facing the street are very noisy in the nights and could not get proper sound sleep.There is neither ceiling fans or Airconditioner in the room,so we had to keep the windows open for some fresh air.The Hotel is very near the Night clubs and sex shops and just opposite the hotel,there is a den of prostitutes in the night,which explains the noise at night.I would not recommend this Hotel for conservative people and people travelling with young children.

Ordinary hotel! Not as good as bestwestern chain in US

It was a pretty room.and the location was very convenient.

When we stayed there,it was a hot day.but no air-conditioned.

With out informing me an amount of chf 145 was debited to my credit card before even i reached the hotel for stay.I was told no money will be charged befor ei stay.Also i had asked the hotel staff to revert that amouint backinot my card i have not yet received that.I paid in cash for my stay.Kindly sort this matter immediately.
