not possible to open the window, expensive late check-out

We were insulted by one of a guest (from American air company) at a lounge area that we should not stay in this hotel with our kids because this is a business hotel. Though our kids did not make loud noise, this drunk person was really rude to us and this ruined our stay there. Hotel should clearly state that the hotel (or lounge) is for business use only (therefore refuse kids) or get rid of these drunkers from lounge area. This was on Friday night, so the hotel accommodates these people even during weekends, conclusion: not for family!!!!

impossible to open the windows in the room and it was very stuffy there , the whole price of the stay ( 2 days)+ 100 CHF were blocked on my bank card at the check-in as a garantee and it is still unblocked although I left the hotel 4 days ago and surely my card was debited again during check-out, my bed was covered with pet hair when we arrived so I had to contact the reception to change my bed sheets.

Clean like most of the other hotels.

Complains about Swiss Police; They stoped our car at the autostreet for a regular control. Police asked us which country me and my wife from. I said we are from Turkey and after police heard that we are from Turkey she asked us to pull over for more check up. They asked for passports, car documents, and why we are in Switzerland. I said we are here for wedding aniversary for weekend. Should we act the same to people who comes from Switzerland ? After you pay so much money to stay there, you feel bad about all, Hotel is another joke; You must pay for parking, internet in the room, who knows what else....

Nothing satisfied at all...bad location...poor service...

Bad location, poor service, and everything inconvenient. You just name it. The bad experience at Zurich Marriott Hotel ruins all the brand images of Marriott. I will never book any Marriott in the world.

Excellent location within easy walk of everything you would want to see in Zurich. Very pleasant staff.

No bath to relax in but that not a complaint. No gin and tonic in the executive lounge, big mistake!

Very specious, child friendly, not too far from the local attractions, best trained & genuinely helpful staff. It is very rare to find such a well equipped hotel in the European towns.

They should accommodate families in the same wing of the hotel as the reception. The other wing, eventhough very well connected with the main building of the hotel, is a walk away. And gets a bit difficult to access with small kids.

Hotel was excellent in all aspects with professional and very friendly staff . The hotel is very well maintained and is very clean and presented properly.

The Staff at reception and in the restaurants were supper polit and very help full. We did not like the view of the original room that was assigned to us but they change our room in less than 15 min.

In a 5 star Hotel you would expect certain things like slippers.. There were No slippers in the room and no afternoon check nor room cleaning - The Marriott Hotels I stayed in in Asia ( China & Japan) have afternoon cleaning servise as well as morning (I.e your room will be cleaned twice dailiy if needed) Also you had to pay 8 Swiss Frank for a small bottel of water I find that really cheap when they charge so much for the room! But that may be a european thing again no charge for water in Asian chain of this Hotel ...

A very enjoyable stay in a nice, comfortable, welcoming hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a stay in Zurich.

The early morning cleaning, which disturbs your relaxing lay in bed.

Interior is very nice and spotless, very nice reception and ambiance, relatively close to downtown, good location, Clean lifts, good fitness room, excellent sauna,

The staff seemed to have been lost on several occasions...Eg.: They managed to lose my luggage -delivered from the airport- within the hotel, it tok another 5 mins to find it, no newspaper in the morning, pieces of hair on the bathroom floor at check in. Also, when you pay such amount for a room, how come there are no complimentary drinks?!? (just a bottle of water, or something) A simple bottle of water costs CHF 6...
