The staff were fantastic; so friendly! The location was great. We had a fantastic time.
The beds could be a bit harder.
Service Price Unfriendly staff
The Activities although they probably need to market them a little better and motivate more of the guests prior beginning eg pool and sand (volley ball)games. Loved the Entertainment !
Industrial hotel, staff average, didn't like it.
Once we upgraded from "Lagoon View" to "Deluxe" it was amazing. It would have been a lousy experience otherwise.
The "Lagoon View" room is not a good room. Felt like a prison cell with a view.
The Noise, the quality of the room, the breakfast facilities, the number of people.
Breakfast was great, pool was good, didn't snorkel by choice, the outside setting was just beautiful plenty of room great view very friendly staff.
Beatiful beach, large room, pleasant staff
Transport to/from airport (5 minutes) priced at NZ$ 60 for three persons. Hotel did not have own transport. Breakfast very simple, although fruit selection was good.
Lots of space
A couple of waitresses ignored you some times
The Edgewater Resort and Spa was a wonderful place to stay with front of house staff who were knowledgeable and always trying to please. The resort offers many activities and the restaurant serves great local and international cuisine. The rooms are well maintained and the staff were lovely enough to give us a room upgrade to a beachside room.
The restaurant can be quite expensive especially the cost of water. The staff can sometimes go missing in action and you may have to wait a long time for someone to take your order. The resort is located on a rocky beach and unfortunately had to be closed due to rough conditions during our stay.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location was beautiful and we enjoyed the many activities offered at the resort. orientation provided us with an excellent overview of the many opportunities available on the island.
The food was less than average and very expensive. The restaurant felt like a School dining room. This said, excellent staff. Service with a smile.
Air condition unit very noisey.
The location was great for snorkelling, beach and airport proximity. Free towels, snorkels, flippers was good. Restaurant was great.
I can imagine this would suit some people, especially those with kids who can make the most of the free activities. Definitely not our style of accommodation.
Impersonal. Only visible surfaces cleaned - years of dust under the best. Dated and old. Swimming pool by restaurant - very strange swimming when people are dining and watching. Very expensive for what we got.
Excellent location & very friendly staff - will consider returning for a very relaxing break
Very friendly staff and would do anything for you.
Should be more variety in regards to food choices.
Beautiful setting. Lovely view from outdoor bar. Simple but tasty food. Nice swimming in front of resort but you need to wear dive booties.Close to airport.
The pool was not as great as it looks in photos - perfect for kids though. Lots of staff around to help but not super friendly.
Location was ideal for a walk to the main town, lagoon just a step away. Staff were friendly and courteous, island night was excellent.
The loud and aggressively rude patrons at the poolside on Mon 19th May. No-one seemed to bother to tell them to keep the noise down and language was appalling. Given that everyone had paid to enjoy the ambience and restful nature of the place, this was a big detractor.
Staff were friendly
Room was extremely basic - dated and sparse. Breakfast was not good - tinned fruit on a tropical island?, presentation terrible and very little choice.
Almost everything available on the one site
Staff very polite and friendly.
Location was excellent Meals were nice
Worst hotel bed we have ever slept on. The cultural night had very loud drums from 20:30 to 21:30 and although we were at back of resort they were still loud, hard to get infant to sleep with that going on.
The sarong lesson and dance - it was a hoot!
There was air-con but not particularly effective.
Location is good, with good facilities. The self catered appartment was well equipped with enough room for two. A good selection of recent movies is streamed on the in room tvs for free
The room equipment was tired, an rooms would need a renovation. The worse thing is that the room are dirty: the pillow and blankets were very old and smelly, even with clean sheets. We were stung by bed bugs. The answer of the hotel management was that they will investigate, and that it is potentially normal, for all kinds of hotel in tropical zones...
proximity to beach
Too noisy too busy
