Location, price, being next to Nautilus for good food. Nice gardens, great spot on beach. 2 for one cocktail hour. Scooters and hike. Kayaks and paddle boards were the best, as it is difficult to swim right in front of hotel.
Not being able to snorkel - the reef is dead. Food is terrible - stale shards of corn chips with tomato sauce or jam for a dip was pretty poor value for $17. Overall, prices are a bit high in Rarotonga for everything apart from the scooter, which was awesome value.
Excellent friendly staff,excellent restaurant.
Paying a grade prices for c grade accomadation
The location was excellent as far as being able to walk down the road to other eating places. The resort was good for the wedding that my daughter had on the 30th Aug, and being able to use the grounds the next day was excellent.
The was a small lack of hours in the resturant/bar. This I thought was a bit to ilregular. I understand when a private function is on. But there were other days as well, when it was not open.
The happy staff! Positive atmosphere and pride they had in their resort!
Poor internet strength requiring one to sit at pool side.
Location - so close to beach, staff were very friendly, there was a great selection of beach toys for children.
Bathroom was tired, breakfast is not worth the extra money, restaurant not open for lunch, kayak had a hole in it and was unusable.
The stunning impact on the senses from the front door through the entrance areas to the open flow inside-outside living areas! And, the space and layout for many conversation circles to happen while enjoying the warm sea air, the pool, and being together with family.
A huge spider that visited a bedroom in the night and scared my son! Not knowing about the tricky petrol tank gauge - that spoiled a first time circuit of the island for some. Minor matters really, but you did ask!
fabuous staff. Great location. Generally friendly guests, laid back
The out of control wedding and its bridal party and guests who thought they owned the resort, took it over and totally ruined a couple of days for the other paying guests
nice and clean resort particularly friendly staff
An excellent location and have nothing but praise for the wonderful staff. A great place to stay for families and has everything needed to make it an enjoyable holiday.
We stayed in a two bedroom bungalow with 2 adults and 3 kids. It was spacious and had everything we needed. But is it is pricey, given that it's self service.
We stayed for 9 nights and were in a self service bungalow, with three kids.I think for the price we should have had a mid week clean as it does get dirty and the brush supplied isn't really enough.
Good location - especially for eating out and beach location. Nice rooms - great having option with cooking facilities.
Staff need to be better prepared in the restaurant facility - more prompt service in the restaurant. The breakfast lady was very nice and well organised - however other staff late arriving. We thought about dining there 2 nights but staff took too long to serve or acknowledge us.
Very friendly & helpful staff, clean & well appointed rooms, lovely gardens, good location (Muri has a big lagoon area for snorkelling, and a great French bakery/cafe over the road, as well as quite a few eateries and activities within easy walk); two pools available for our use (ours and Nautilus next door); staff resolved accommodation issues (both self-inflicted and maintenance related) wonderfully; excellent two bedroom family villa.
Short reception hours, so hard to get help with any requirements before 9am and after 5pm (some days 2pm); difficult to track down any blankets for beds if cold (should have been in rooms); poor laundry facilities for guest use.
Staff were very friendly Beds were comfortable Good location Relaxed and peaceful during the day
Very expensive for accommodation type Roof leaked in bedroom ruining my daughters laptop Noisy behind unit at night with solar power batteries and heatpumps
Great location, shops and restaurants and car hire all within walking distance . Very helpful staff.
The bed was getting out of date, needed a new mattress. No nuts or chips at bar to have with drinks. A bit overpriced for whats on offer
Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful and (beautifully maintained) grounds ...a lot of thought has been given to planting for a lush, tropical atmosphere and privacy. Especially liked the cleanliness...very few placses are as clean as this, even though the units are quite old.
Nothing to dislike, though the breakfast was a bit basic.
Lovely location. Lovely staff . Would definitely visit again
Our last night was spoilt by a group of people right next door who were drunk and partying till 2am. I called the owner who came over and spoke to them but as soon as she left they continued their drunken swearing behavior.
Staff, location, peaceful
Decor Linnen Bed Overpriced for what you get
Full kitchen facilities and large rooms. Nice pool. Great location! Free use of snorkel gear, flippers, kayaks and paddle boards (most other places charge for paddle boards)
Not informed that pool towels were supposed to be provided until check out (so didnt get any). Some kitchen staff kept misunderstanding requests, e.g got chips and tomato sauce instead of spicy island fries and sour cream. Only small things. Overall was good. Do be aware of whether weddings are happening while you are staying. We attended a wedding there which meant others couldnt use the restaurant and part of the grounds, and we were also probably noisy until late. Wouldnt have been very happy about it if I wasnt attending
Our room was very comfortable with a great view out to the lagoon.
The restaurant menu was very disappointing, we ordered the seafood platter for two. Very poor, for the price charged.
Loved the fact it wasn't too busy. A quiet little place handy to everything
The staff were very friendly and the location excellent. Nothing was too much to ask for.
The cost for the average unit was very over priced. I loved the people and understand that Rarotonga relies on tourists for their ecomony but I would seek cheaper accommodation.
Location Pool/restaurant Poolside villa Reception staff very helpful and Knowledgable Friendliness
Other residents late night noise Limited car parking
Good facility in a great location. Helpful friendly staff. Good value for money. Very quiet.
TV too small. Could have better seating and sun loungers etc.
