|Set opposite Aitutaki's beautiful turquoise lagoon, Vaiorea Beach House boasts beautiful ocean views and direct beach access.|
The position is well situated. Our Garden Studio was spacious, lovely beach a few steps away. Good value for the price.
Our bed was not the most comfortable.
Beach huts were excellent. Just what we were looking for. Breakfast, good Ambience Helpfulness of staff Pickup and drop off Coconut Shack meals
Insect drilling in our roof leaving fine dust by the safe but we fixed that with a squirt of the fly spray. Cockerels crowing so early in the morning. Nothing else it was so good
Fantastic location on Aitutaki, sweet little bungalows right on the beach, and an amazing price. The only downside is it's too tempting to just sit on your own balcony the whole time and not explore!
Unlike the big resorts, Paradise Cove Lodge has basic amenities however the Lodge is owned by locals and all the staff are very accommodating. The bungalows are self contained, clean and tidy and very good value for the less extravagant traveller who wants to get out and explore Aitutaki rather than hang around a Resort style of accommodation. Scooters and bikes are available for hire and the staff can arrange car hire if required.
There's not much to complain about when you're on Aitutaki although if you're there on a Sunday it's best to have some food that you could prepare in your bungalows as there's not a lot open.
The bungalow was a bit old and worn and couldn't have a comfortable shower as it kept changing from too hot to cold but apart from that the beds were comfortable, everything was clean and good. Beautiful spot near the beach and the staff are super friendly and helpful.
This property is very good value particularity in a market where one could spend hundreds to have the full American resort experience -- but who needs that -- you are already in paradise. We had a bungalow on the beach on a tropical island for about $150/night with a balcony that faced the sapphire waters of the Pacific, a lovely sunset and a fully functional kitchenette (save money by fixing lunch yourself and go out for dinner). The place is well run, the food on "buffet night" was fairly priced and very tasty and we didn't want to leave, but again, this was about as close to heaven as I have yet been! Frankly, I think folks would be foolish to spend 2-3x as much for some isolated resort.
Really nothing. The property is too far from "town" to walk but there really isn't any need to go to town. We rented a scooter on the property and saw everything there was to see in that fashion.
Perfect location to enjoy prime sunsets. Make sure to rent a scooter at their office so you can tour all the way around this delightful island!
The bathroom smelled and the space felt tight but overall good value.
Complimentary breakfast. Great Island Umu and Buffet nights. Excellent value. Location. Staff. Value for money. Very comfy new beds.
Paying for snorkelling gear.
Very helpful people there that were very knowledgeable. The bed was very comfortable and the location, right on the beach, was fantastic.
Limited kitchen supplies.
Lovely on the beach, breezes off the sea cooled us at noght so did not miss lack of air conditioning, accommodation basic but comfortable, always had hot water for showers and toilet/shower clean
Tropical breakfast was quite basic, and sadly they served tinned fruit when their was fresh fruit in abundance on the island
great relaxed place in a great location
Location is brilliant, view from bungalow on beachfront cannot be beaten, comfortable bed
Shower pressure poor, island buffet dinner a little over priced for what you get, but generally pretty tasty
excellent staff, very eager to help out with advice, tours or services. central location. good vibe
No complaints, all good
Amazing view, great location, bungalows are a good size, very comfortable beds, free snorkel and kayak for the guests, staff could not be more accommodating right from when we stepped off the plane, terrific value for money.
Everything was great, nothing negative to report
- all bungalows right on the beach with laggon & sunset view - tropical breakfast - great staff, both Joe & Junior very helpful and nice! - reception phone 24/24h at your disposal for Island calls to book restaurants, tours and so on - scooter & bike rental at disposal - anti mosquito spray and stuff provided in the room
Right on beach and lagoon. Sunsets. Simple, but clean bungalow. Friendly, helpful staff. Coconut shack simple breakfast and evening meals at beach kiosk. Free airport pickup and drop off. Proximity to resturants - all price ranges and good food. Friendly, helpful people of Aitutaki. Balconies overlooking beach, but would be improved with more shade.
There was nothing I didn't like.
It is exactly the kind of resort that allows you to appreciate silence, ocean colours and sound of the waves breaking on the reef. No anonimity of standard de luxe. Few people. Simple. I had a bungalow on the beach. Wonderful.
Have to walk to restaurants
Great staff, fabulous beach front location, comfortable accommodation. We loved our stay at Paradise Cove Resort and would recommend it for anyone who doesn't want a big fancy resort. The staff booked tours and restaurants for us and were most helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
Can't think of a thing--except we didn't have enough time here!
Friendly staff, value for money and central location with reasonable swimming beach
Our safe wasn't attached to the building so could have been picked up and carried out ( easily)
location is excellent, individual and personal atmosphere
The location was just gorgeous and the staff really helpful!
The cook was really good, friendly and efficient in many domains. The staff who served at table were always in the best of moods. Our balcony overlooked the beach and the sea, framed by magnificent palm trees.
Air conditioning and a hair drier would have been most appreciated. The hotel had a "tired" aspect. Flying insects were a real problem, especially the mosquitoes at the reception.
Wonderful location and such a restful place. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Cute huts right on the beach with balcony and fan in room. Nice folks run it.
Food is served outside with feet in sand (sand fleas on ankles in evening and hot outside) and no buses, must rent scooter or bike. And food is expensive.
