Available kitchen for muslim traveller (micro oven etc) Nice room with adequate required facilities Located within town area Good services
Good location close to plaza. Good breakfast. Also use of the kitchen to make a cup of tea etc.
The postion is very good, close to the central square, the seaside and a lot of good restaurants (you must try La Nana, ask the reception for directions). Marcelo, the owner, is very kind and helpful. He also got us in touch with a very good travel agent, friend of his, to get to the famos beach, la Pinguinera, to see the penguins. The wifi connection was very good and fast. The breakfast was good enough: there were coffee, milk, cereals, bread, jams, cake and a very kind woman cooked eggs for each guest who arrived in the dining room, which was nice with a lovely view on the city. The room was not very big, but comfortable, and included a private bathroom with a good shower.
Absolutely nothing, we had a really good time there (2 nights and 3 days).
Location, friendly and cooperative staff, possibity to cook , advice about city and region
The hotel has small rooms, but they are sufficient. It is very quiet and at the same time right in the center of Ancud. The owner helped us with a lot of ideas for dining out, sightseeing and tips ror the entire island of Chiloe. It has a free save parkingspace.
It is centrally located. The owner is very helpful with lots of tips what to do and see. The parking is locked/fenced and free of charge. The rooms have good heaters, so it is warm. Free tea and coffee in the evening and good breakfast.
The check-in time is very limited (17:00-19:30), we arrived after 20:00 and it took us more than an hour calling until we got in (our fault that we didn't check time of check-in, be careful with this). Low ceilings, but it wasn't problem for us. Found some hair in the bathtub/shower, but otherwise everything looked clean. Upon check-in we got just one small towel, it was fixed the next day.
The room was perfect, extremely nice bed after so much traveling we really appreciated a good night sleep, the bathroom also had everything we needed. Breakfast was self service but they cook eggs if you wish. Fair price and they have Tv cable as well. Walking distance from the main attractions as the Museum, restaurantes, the main square, the fish market, etc. They also provided private parking as I requested it in advance.
They didn't know how to do the check out if the guest is paying in dollars. Even when the booking informations says clearly we can pay in dollars. Nobody was there to do our check out the lady in charge of the breakfast tried her best to help us. She had to rang the owner to ask him for assistance but he didn't answer. The girl who did our check in finally came and try to solve the problem, however she didn't know either. As I did it in other Hotels I explained them the procedure. This is not right though especially the time wasting for guests.
It has all you need on a Budget.
It is a charming hotel, very friendly manager/owner, who was most helpful, the situation is splendid - right by the plaza and handy for the main bus station and lots of places to eat. It is simple, offers everything a traveller needs.
Everything. Staff were super nice - and sat us down, showed us a map of the area and let us know what there was to do on arrival. Rooms, perfect, and location was right in the middle of everything in the top floor of a building, it was really cool, with fireplaces down the hallway. Big TV with cable, really comfy bed, hot showers that didn't run out, excellent breakfast, and they were extra helpful and let us hang around after checkout while we waited for a lift. All A+++ really.
Nothing. It was all perfect!
- freshly made scrambled eggs for breakfast - free parking slot - helpful owner - central location - kitchen and fridge can be used
- the owner asked three times to please give him a very good recommendation on booking.com - tiny room (both size and height) - milk-glassed windows
Marcelo and Claudia were really helpful and friendly. The hotel is very well run and comfortable. It was snug as a ship. The eggs were delicious.
quiet place close to the center, friendly and helpful staf
entrance is hard to find and steep
Secure, gated parking lot. Helpful staff.
Very small room with a very low ceiling
dreary location inside a little mall on a noisy street -- loud drunks at night
Perfect base for exploring the island of Choloe, with a wonderful location in the small town, good parking and a very happy atmosphere. Went south to Punihuil to take a boat trip recommended by Ancud Petit and Chile Birds, to see Humboldt and Magellanic penguins sharing a collony, as well as many sea birds, coastal birds and waders, most with young. But also saw sea otters, seals and porpoise. Another expedition took us to Castro, and houses on stilts as well as a new coastal bird sanctuary. Every evening found marvellous food with amazing views in Ancud.
no detractions at all.
The owner/manager was very friendly and spoke English. He even gave us a private perking lot. There is tea/coffee in the kitchen to enjoy 24/7.
The room looks better on pictures than in real life.
Real good value for money, very clean, provides comforts (cable tv, wi-fi and parking). The rooms are of reasonable size and the people are very friendly. I would recommend it to anyone.
The place was nice and comfortable. The staff was very nice and good willed
This is a good option for a quiet stay in Chiloe. At the center of the town, very near the bus station and the various restaurants and bar. Friendly staff and decent breakfast. Warning: the name of the hotel is actually real (Petit), but that is the only "bad" thing worth mentioning. Recommended.
Small rooms, but that's the only negative, and it's not deal breaking.
Receptionist - and owner - very friendly. Nice beedrooms. Good satelital TV.
Aisén is not so interesting.
Very friendly and helpful staff, convenient location. Great breakfast with delicious scrambled eggs made just for you.
Very bad exchange rate, the actual price ended up being 20% higher than what listed on booking.com
very friendly and helpful staff (i.e. ensuring we had breakfast waiting for us early in the morning before the serving times) enough heating sources
parking in a bit of distance (just minor complication)
