it was a nice place to stay, quite when windows are shut,
We couldnt use the pool while we stayed, because it was cleaned
the location was excellent
Fab location - can walk to everything including downtown. Lots of cafes and bars around the corner.
Helpful English speaking staff, very pleasant apartment, quiet and secure. Great location
There was nothing that we didn't like
Close to restraurants and bars. Close to subway and transport, a secure building with excellent service for checking in and out. Would stay again
No air cond made it a little hot to sleep. Had to leave a window open.
The staff were very helpful, and security staff on the gate did their best to help with our very little Spanish. The location was convenient even though the area is not particularly attractive.
Weekend nights were noisy as the apartments are near a street with many bars
Very spacious apartment with good kitchen facilities. Very helpful staff and value for money.
Lots of loud noises at night, constant banging and crashing about.
BellaVista Apartments is in the Cultural Centre of Santiago. If you like art, Jazz, music, restaurants or street food Bella Vista will tick all the boxes. Don't be put off by the graffiti you will see when you arrive, look underneath for the brilliant and talented "street art" which covers the shop fronts me. You can eat cheaply or enjoy fine dining or buy food at the markets and eat at your apartmentf- it is your choice! There is a tourist bureau to assist with tours. We recommend the "Hop On Hop off " bus pass. It is good value. Easy walk to city centre and Central Market. Also 2 blocks to escalator to mountain observation point above city.
The only issue we had was with the organisation of transfer to airport! Booked for 7:50pm. We were constantly told "it's coming" -at 8:15 we found our own taxi! Quite frustrating!! Biggest problem was our lack of Spanish!
Look no furthers. Not only is this apartment in a private residential building, with a living room, kitchen, bedroom, massive walk in closet, it is also steps away from everything in Bellavista in a private secured area. The apartment was extremely clean and well decorated, and the complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates was a big surprise. The managers Alejanadra and Valentina are both fluent in english and spanish and will take care of any need you may have. They not only adjusted our booking when we needed to make a last minute change to our travel plans, they will show you everything about the apartment upon your arrival, and give you a map of the area and tell you where exactly to go for site seeing, dining, etc... based on your travel desires. They also can make arrangements for cabs to the airport and anything else you might need. I have traveled a lot, and stayed at a lot of places, and would on a scale of 1-10 all around I would give this place a 10+.
Nothing, everything was fantastic.
Excellent location, great value for money and very eager to assist in any way. Close to restaurants. A lovely touch was the welcome wine.
Noise street folk partying very late!
Right next door to Patio Bellavista, in the midst of the Bohemian part of Santiago and on the other side of the river from Barrio Lastarria (for the not-too-abundant book and record shops) and the town centre, these apartments offer astonishing value for money for culturally-minded visitors. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the garage is a welcome extra.
The Staff is very good, and the location is perfect, its near everything!
It was really comfortable and the owners were really nice with us. Clean and just next to the university where I had to to do bussines.
Actually I liked it all. But a few days later I watched a tv show in which they said these kinds of apart hotels aren't completely official, so I would recommend to respect the neighbors in terms of noise. But anyway I had a great time.
The location is great, two blocks from very good restaurants, one block from Patio Bellavista, few blocks from cerro San Cristobal. The neighborhood is crewded with students and is not as clean as I would like, but we did not have any problem with the noise that other guests complained here. We also received 1 bottle of white wine and a couple of chocolats as a gift.
Nothing. The process of paying for the stay could be a little faster. Take your passport or brazilian id and the tourist paper with you in order to not pay 19% of taxes.
The apartment is great, spacious, newly furnished and located in the heart of Bella Vista. The staff is also really nice and I would definitely stay there again.
It may get a bit noisy during the weekend nights, but of course this is a collateral effect of its location close to many bars and restaurants. It didn't bother me though.
Flat rental in a residential complex.
The one-bedroom apartment that we had was clean, had everything that one needed for a short stay and was conveniently located (short walk from Baquedano metro station) in a lively area. The staff were particularly kind and helpful. Overall Bella Vista apartments are a great place to stay in Santiago.
As we went in May/June it was cold in Santiago and the only negative that I would point out is that we were cold in the apartment a lot of the time as it has only one storage heater in the living room. The heater didn't heat up the apartment sufficiently for us although the Bellavista apartment staff kindly extended the hours during which the heater charged up heat. Installing additional heating is something the apartment owner(s) should consider.
Amazingly friendly and helpful staff with very good English is really helpful for a line traveller
Wifi went on and off a little
apartment 208 is so noise.
The apartment is very well located,a 5-min walk from the subway. The facilities are just perfection, the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times, I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Santiago one day, and I will strongly recommend this to anyone that visits this city, it definitely enhances your experience. I loved it. Wi fi was excellent inside the apartment.
Nothing, everything was great.
Great Location , Great Staff and Modern Apartments
Location is perfect. The apartment is ok, well equiped.
The bedroom and the bathroom are a little tight. The lack of a view from the window. There was another building very close to ours. Hot water is insufficient for two sequential baths...
Nothing to dislike
Excellent location, great staff, great security.
No TV in the lounge room, which I meant I spent most of the time in the bedroom.
clean modern apartment in a high rise residential building. well appointed. close to zoo and funicular. gated building with door guard so quite safe.
don't ask them for a taxi - our "taxi" arrived 40 min late and was a private car with no meter. seriously overcharged after "taxi" was parked away from other people. university next door so quite noisy at times and the noise also depends on the people in the next apartment (pets are allowed).
