Hotel Cabaña Del Lago (湖滨小屋酒店)    

Staff is very well prepared, and accommodations are both beautiful and comfortable. The hotel is the last one on the shore, but the town is rather small, so the distance is definitely not an issue. The breakfast buffet has everything. Did not eat at the restaurant, but the drinks and appetizers were OK. The room was rather large, with a gorgeous lake view and very comfortable beds/furniture. Climatisation is very well implemented, so the room was never cold (even maybe a bit too hot).

Breakfast could (and should) be served until 11 am, not 10 am.

The furniture, it's almost all made of great, heavy wood. Very good taste.

Room had a faint humidity smell

Well signposted directions from town to hotel making it easy to find. Comfortable hotel, clean with friendly staff. Great views over the lake from our room, restaurant and bar.

Heating turned off in the middle of the night. A bit slow on requests for additional towels/pillows - having to ask twice even though it was in the booking request.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly especially when we needed to get into the room earlier than stated. Children were made to feel very welcome. Great location.

There was very little choice for vegetarian food in the restaurant. The indoor pool was quite cold.

Room size was good. I asked for a view and got one. Bed was very comfortable and sleeping was easy. Door service and staff were friendly but many times seemed overwhelmed by numbers checking in.

Thought 3:30 a bit late for check in but so be it. As the walk to the hotel was up the hill, I recommend that you take a taxi upon arrival as they are not too expensive. Make sure you agree on price first.

I love the location and the view. Everything was perfect for us the food and the room were excellent, the staff so friendly and helpful. I did like the design of the building. It is a center point to organize other trips it not to fare away from Puerto Montt and Isla Chiloe or Frutillar, just a day you'll be in Todos los Santos Lake or Peulle another few hours you'll be in Bariloche Argentina I will recomended this Hotel to my friends and people who ask

The room was big and comfortable and had a wonderful view.

We had a wonderful time in Puerto Varas and could not think of any better place to stay but at Cabana del Lago, that is the reason we came back three times! the service was efficient, friendly and polite. We hope to return one day. John and Josephine Pyne.

Having to leave and return to Australia!

It's a very recommendable hotel, pretty much everything was excellent in this hotel!... staff, rooms, service, food (specially the breakfast), the amazing view, great swimming pool, nice pool table, great bikes to go around the area. We will be coming back.

The only negative little thing is the design of the showers, even if you are careful with the curtain, water will still goes along the edge of the shower base and makes a large puddle

This is a large well appointed hotel with great views. Good restaurant and helpful staff.

In general a very good managed and maintained hotel. The style is a little bit old fashioned but classic, what I like. I had a large room with beautiful view over the lake. The value which I received for the paid price was extremely good. One of my best hotel deals ever!

Front desk staff. When I checked out, there was nobody who spoke English. I have a repertoire of 4 languages, but there was no communication possible. But there was something to discuss: First, they presented me an invoice in Chilean pesos, which included VAT, but everybody knows that a tourist from outside Chile doesn’t have to pay VAT on hotel-invoices in US-Dollar. So, why they present me an invoice which is 19% higher without necessity? Second, it was written on booking.com, that the whole price was already charged to my credit card on the day of the booking, what was some weeks ago. So why to pay again? Finally and after a long time of waiting they found an english speaking colleague by phone who confirmed, that I could pay in US-Dollar without VAT and that nothing was charged to my credit card so far. The whole process took so much time, that I had to go to the airport without breakfast. During the whole process the front desk staff was rather nerved from me but not friendly. This experience was really a pity because in general this hotel is very good.

Service. Views from Room. Snacks in bar were good. Andrea at the front desk was very helpful as were the other front desk personel. Carlo, the bellman was also very good.

Bar service was VERY slow the second time we visited it. The spa/massuse was a very nice man. However, the masage was not very good and was too expensive for the service received.

Very nice location. Brigt, spacious rooms with high standard of decor etc. Just a few minutes from the centre.

The breakfest is medium and the pair of glasses of a person of our group disapeared in their room.

Everything. The food was excellent. The room was extra spacious and clean. The pool was warm and relaxing. The views from our rooms and every window in the hotel were to die for. The location at the end of the town is peaceful and still allows for a short walk to most attractions. The heating was from geothermal sources. There was outdoor play area, as well as Game Room. Across from the road, there was a well equipped outdoor gym which the locals frequented. If we ever go back to Chile, we will stay at the same hotel.

Sobre todo la vista del hotel

El restoran no tiene mucha variedad en su menu. Ademas la atencion solo regular. Da la sensacion que eran garzones en practica. No conocian bien el menu y se equivocaban en reiteradas ocasiones.

La temperatura interior del hotel es perfecta. El desayuno buffete super. La vista maravillosa. La piscina, buenísima. Los masajes con conversación entretenidas. La atención del personal muy cálida.

Las vistas y la atencion excelentes. Siempre alguien dispinible.

El trago de bienvenida, que es una de las primeras impresiones. Malo, podria ser un poco mas elavorado.
