“ The hotel is in a fairly good location. I was able to walk to a bunch of the must see sites and found a lot of places for good food (there is nothing in the immediate block but once you walk a bit there is LOTs). The city is much safer than other South American cities so I did t mind walking at any hour. ”

Excellent breakfast, great view from the swimming pool. Some of the hotel's workers need to understand the benefits of smiling.

Great Location, the hotel itself seems really nice, altough we only stayed for a night. The hotel staff was nice enough to waiver the penalty for changing the night and we stayed one night with them. The hotel facilities seemed very good and the staff was friendly. When we arrived, we got a room that was already taken by another guest which was pretty embarrasing when we opened the door. The second room had a horrible smell, I guess a wet carpet or something of the sort, had to take the carpet out of the room myself in the middle of the night to get some sleep.

quite big apartment (2 bedrooms, 3 beds, 2 bathrooms) not clean at all, the beds have wheels but nobody is ever moving them to clean. there's a kitchen inside, but only 2 glasses, no possibility at all to prepare your own food. the staff at the front desk was absolutely unprofessional and not able to handle several problems at the same time. it says whirlpool, in my opinion there have been 3 pools at the terrace but not one whirlpool with warm water to enjoy the view.

The hotel is in a fairly good location. I was able to walk to a bunch of the must see sites and found a lot of places for good food (there is nothing in the immediate block but once you walk a bit there is LOTs). The city is much safer than other South American cities so I did t mind walking at any hour. The view from the roof pool is worth it all. The staff really try hard but note that their English is limited so see how much Spanish you can use. Breakfast is included and just want you want. The rooms are really nicely done but note more of a Europen size than us size. All in all Santiago is great!! And a cute little hotel that made the experience nice. You will notice that things are done a little (maybe a lot) slower here than your big chain 5 star hotel. Checkin is a bit slow but hopefully you are on holiday so just shrug it off. The hotel pool is not heated so it was a little too cold but I still loved it. Note that there are any food places right next to the hotel but there is lots if you walk a little further towards the Alameda. Don't bother with taxis. It was fun walking around.

They lied to us, they said they are pets friendly and then treated us like dirt when we show up with our dog. They said our reservacion said we would have the dog at the parking lot. I consulted Booking.com to see of there was a missundertanding coz we sent a letter many days in advance explaining them we had a dog who was the only reason to visit Chile. There was nothing as they said to me. They lied to us upfront and made us feel so unwanted at their hotel, there was a man from the Spa that dared gave me a dirty look. Ask me to hold the dog in arms at all times, I explained to dog weights 33 kilos, their reply: that is what the health department requires of you!! They were simply nasty, nasty...the only thing they wanted is to take your money. They told me at first some guest had complained about our dog, then other told me a manager of the hotel herself. If one of their managers acts in that way, what rights has the guess at this so wrongly called "hotel". And by the way, the hotel has nothing of luxurious or anything like that, rooms are small, only one pitiful tv in a two bedroom apt. There was absolute no kitchen ware, not even an electric pot to make yourself a tee. Breakfast had nothing tasty, and the eggs tasted old. The pool look good until you realize it was ice cold. . People used to tell me Chile was like Europe, well, that is not true at all. You can give one step out of the hotel and see street dogs everywhere!!! They are very good to pull rules for foreigners, but not to aply them to their own! Streets are dirty, dark and unsafe just around the corner from the "hotel".

The room was quite modern and internet access was really fast. Staff was helpful and they arranged everything quickly and efficiently The hotel is not far from a main road (avenida de Portugal in santiago). they should probably change the windows as the noise due to the traffic was quite loud. Breakfast could be better but not bad.

Rooms were large and modern Staff and service were very poor. Foyer was crowded and the front desk poorly organised. The restaurant was only open for breakfast and there were no decent restaurants close by.

The fact that there was a suite and we could make our own light lunch, tea, coffee, etc. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. There English was adequate. This was helpful as communication in English in Chile was extremely difficult. The toilet bin in our bathroom was not emptied after the previous visitors. The service at breakfast on our second morning was poor and it seemed as if there was a shortage of staff then. The scrabbled eggs was badly prepared and smelled not too fresh. We accidentally received a wake-up call at 03:00am which was meant for someone else. We were told that the room has an air conditioner, but there was none. The outside traffic was very noisy and we therefore could not sleep.

Personnel tres arrogant.
