Hotel Hallef  

It was closed to the bus station.

The walls are not sound proof, you can hear all activities that go on outside the room including people going up and down the wooden staircase.especially.Very expensive for what it offers. The room cannot be more basic, a bed, two small bed tables, a thin desk with a wooden bench and a mirror, that's it.

The hotel was convenient as a stop over on our trip to Torres del Paine. Comfortable rooms and nice amen iTunes

Wish they had staff. That spoke some english

We stayed here before and after our Torres del Paine trip. Staff was friendly and helpful in helping us find an atm, since we had just arrived in Chile. Also gave great advice about bus tickets and grocery shopping.

Good central location and very friendly staff. Decent breakfast and comfortable bed, if small.

Shower enclosure was useless as it didn't extend full length of the tub nor to higher than your shoulders, so everything got wet. No elevator.

New and clean facilities.

Heating not too good. I was overcharged due to unfair money conversion policy.

The staff is friendly, the facilities are simple but functional, and the location is quite good. All in all, an excellent value for the money.

There is no acoustic isolation, so noise from other apartments could be annoying at times.

The staff didn´t speak English at all (although my friend speaks Spanish so maybe they didn´t try hard enough).

New construction, clean, and well located (a couple of blocks from the main city square). Convenient for a short stay in Natales.

Access to the upper floor only by stairs. No light switch close to the bed. Poor breakfast (e.g., no filter or espresso coffee!).

The staff were great, even though I don't speak Spanish. Carolina at the front desk was great, and very patient with me.

The doors to the rooms were really cheap, and the locks were poor. I would upgrade that portion of the hotel.

Clean and warm hotel. We saw 3 people at the reception , very friendly and helpful courteous young people. Highly recommended.

The surrounding outside of the hotel should have less overgrown grass and weeds ,but this applies generally to a lot of surrounding areas in P. natales and P. arenas , to keep the town neat and clean ,since it is good for overall attraction of tourists and visitors. For example ,compare with Frutillar and P. varas, which are clean ,neat towns..

We booked a triple room and the hotel is very clean and moderm, staff was very friendly and helpful,

the breakfast can be improved a little bit if I wanna be really picky but it is not a big deal

Hotel Hallef was one of the nicest hotels we stayed at during our 2 week trip in Chile. For a low price, it was very clean and comfortable.

Their bathrooms need new toilets (manager said they were defective and were going to change all of them at the end of this season)

Everything. It was the best Hotel we stayed in during our 4 week visit to Chile. The room and bathroom were spotless. Our beds were so comfortable with crispy white sheets. The Owner was so kind and helpful when I asked if I could have boiling water to make a hot drink for my cold. They also served the best breakfast with frest fruit. All the staff were helpful and smiley.

Absolutely nothing, I would give it 10 our of 10.

The perfect allround hotel in Puerto Natales priced for us normal people. Nothing else need be said. And I´d like to thank Carolina at reception for her attention and professionalism. A travel industry person of her calibre will soon be working at a Sheraton or maybe a Hilton Conrad hotel. Stay at the Hallef before she moves onto those greener pastures. Thank you Senorita Carolina.

The thing which I didn´t like about the Hotel Hallef is that eventually I had to check out and leave.

This hotel is soleless, use it for business only if you have to stay in calama. The breakfast is poor, nothing fresh in sight, we were disappointed.

Breakfast and the receptionist, she gave us wrong info about the buses and we ended up having to wait in a bus station for a Long time.

Staff were extremely accomodating with any requests. For such a small hotel, having 24 hour receptionist gave me confidence that backpacks stowed there for 5 days would be safe. And they were. Upon checkin again 5 days later, they had prepared all paper work in advance and just gave me my key as soon as I walked in. No hassles at all.

The staffs are really nice and helpful. The breakfast is very good! clean, and new room. Good location!
