So, in the Southern Hemisphere, they don't believe in screens, insulation, or central heat. So whatever the temperature is, the rooms aren't heated. I'd suggest skiping the hotel's coffee and just grabbing one from one of the cafes around there. If you are avoiding wheat or, God forbid, doing Paleo, you would do better to avoid Chile altogether. The prices in Chile are the same as in the US, so don't think you can come to Chile for a cheap vacation!
The hotel is well kept, nice rooms, good staff, and close to the metro (about a 5 minute walk). Usual breakfast (plate of some cold cuts, bread, pastry, 2 eggs and some hot milk if you like), plus cereal. Staff are nice, most speak English, and it's great that there's someone there 24 hours/day. About a 10 minute wak to Bellavista, a major restaurant hub.
